Our kitchen is not enabled for the use of guests, but if you really need to use it, do not hesitate to request it, we can always make an exception. The family is the main protagonist of the atmosphere that is breathed in the house, environment in which we raise our two children, the oldest, a professional dancer, and the youngest, a dance student.
In Doña Natalia there is no shortage of good conversations about different topics of interest, such as the reality of our country, which you will surely want to know. Unfortunately we don't speak English, but that won't be a problem. You will love the way we will understand each other and will share as good friends.
Boris, my husband, is an economist. He gave up his career to dedicate to the hospitality in Santa Clara. Me, Maye, am a hairdresser, a service that I put at your disposal so that you do not leave our house without a totally renewed look ;) Other things to note Information of interest to the visitor     1. Migration procedures and visas To travel to Cuba you only need:     • Round trip air ticket     • Passport in order, valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into the country     • Visa or Tourism Card     • Health insurance The tourist visa or tourist card is valid for 30 days, extendable for a second month. At the entrance to the country there are only health restrictions for travelers from countries where yellow fever or cholera are endemic, or have been declared areas of infection by the World Health Organization, in which case it is required to present the International Certificate of Vaccination .      2. The Cuban currency Currently, Cuba has two currencies, the convertible peso (CUC) and the non-convertible peso (CUP). The convertible peso (CUC) is the most useful for tourists. Most of the tourist services (hotels, airports, restaurants, cafes, taxis, tourist and interprovincial buses, supermarkets, art markets and souvenirs, among others) operate with convertible pesos. For this reason, you must exchange your travel currency for convertible pesos (CUC). In Cuba, banks and exchange houses only exchange for convertible pesos (CUC) some currencies, such as the US dollar, the Canadian dollar, the euro, the pound sterling and the Swiss franc. You should not travel to Cuba with other currencies. It is recommended to travel to Cuba with euros. Since the banks close on weekends and taking into account that the ATM network is relatively scarce, it is recommended to travel with some cash that allows you to bear the arrival expenses. 3. Credit and debit cards Although the most universally known credit and debit cards are valid in Cuba, those based on US banks or their subsidiaries in other countries are not accepted. That is, the credit or debit cards of US banks or their subsidiaries abroad are not accepted in Cuba. Health and medical emergencies The Cuban authorities require tourists to have medical or travel insurance. Hospital guard bodies serve the tourist in urgent cases.       5. Security Cuba is a safe country, however we recommend taking certain precautions:     • carry only the money needed for the day,     • watch over your bag and camera,     • do not change currency in the street,     • Do not circulate in isolated and dark places.
