Guest access Entire property Other things to note - We pride ourselves on a very clean, well maintained cabin. Professional cleaning is performed before and after each stay. If you see anything that is unsatisfactory please let us know and we will address it immediately. - The roads leading to the cabin are paved and single lane, but a bit bumpy and straight up at times. You will quickly grow to love the old country mountain road feeling they give on your way away. Just takes a trip to get used to it. :) - Cabin parking area is crushed and packed gravel. Easy for any standard height vehicle access. - Tier II EV Charger. Tesla approved. Universal application. - Cabin water is fed by a private well. That said, taste and color of the water may change with weather. We have a house filter in place, but you may prefer to bring bottled water for drinking. - The hot tub is completely drained and refilled after each guest. Our cleaners also rebalance the bromine/ph levels after every guest. However, since we are using a mountain well for water, sometimes there is a heavy mineral mix (varies depending on rainfall). This can affect the color of the water an staining to the hot tubs for the homes in the area at times. That said, our cleaners may use additional chemicals to balance the ph levels. This may cause a strong smell the first day, but will settle down in a day or so of the water filtering. - You will have full access to the thermostat. Captain Obvious statement 🙃: Please do not use the A/C and gas logs at the same time (or have the windows/doors open will using the gas logs). Thanks dad 😏 - NOTE: When running the gas logs, this may cause the downstairs to be cooler than upstairs. There are two thermometers (one upstairs and one downstairs). The thermostat takes an average temperature of both meters and he heat will only kick on when the average is lower than what you have it set to. So… to keep it warm downstairs please turn the fan on the unit to circulate. You may also have to move up the thermostat setting. - Is not recommended to run the gas logs through the night. - That said, if you have any issues along the way please let me know. I’m happy to help any time you need. :) - The cabin is located in a beautiful forest… That said, there are plenty of ANIMALS that live there too. Including black bears. They frighten easily and will run away when they see you. However, they are smart and can open car doors. Please try to not store food in your cars and LOCK your car doors just in case. Also, be sure to secure the outside trash enclosure with the latch every time you use it. Yogi doesn’t need a free snack. :)
