ABOUT GOLD MOUNTAIN CABIN Up a dirt road, you'll find Gold Mountain Cabin, perfect for those hardy individuals who want to experience the great outdoors and prefer a bit of solitude. Here, you can enjoy 10 acres of forest surrounding the cabin and come back to a warm and comfortable retreat for the night. Although this is a great place to get away, if you're inclined to swimming, boating, tourist activities, skiing, or hunting, it's a perfect basecamp. Lake Pend Oreille is 10 minutes away, Sandpoint is just 15 minutes away, Schweitzer Ski Resort is 30 minutes and hunting is right out the door. Boasting three stories with a two-story wrap-around deck, outdoor seating, a gas barbeque, firepit and wildlife tree stand, there are plenty great places to kick back and immerse yourself in nature. Inside, you'll find a large open living room with an electric fireplace to warm the chilly nights while you snuggle into the couch and chairs and catch your favorite movie on the 56" television. MORE ABOUT GOLD MOUNTAIN CABIN The kitchen has everything you'll need to feed your guests - fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher and plenty of pots, pans and dinnerware - not to mention updated granite countertops, coffee maker, toaster and more. Upstairs you'll find a queen-sized bed and loft with a desk available, in case you have some work to attend to. On the lower floor are two more bedrooms - one with a twin/full bunk bed and one with a full bed. There are also two air mattresses available. All in all, Gold Mountain Cabin can accommodate a crowd of eleven. There are also two bathrooms, one with shower and one with a tub/shower combo. Up to two dogs of any size are welcome when pre-registered with our per pet, per night fee. ABOUT SANDPOINT Sandpoint is home to so many adventures awaiting you and your family. In the winter, ski the slopes – the views will be snow covered and gorgeous. Bring your sled because the kids will love sledding down hill. There are many bike and hiking trails all around the lake and nearby mountain ranges that will provide scenic views of the beautiful Idaho. There is horseback riding, brewery & wine tours, airplane tours and boating, too. Visit the museums or the fine dining restaurants where you’ll get a taste of what Sandpoint is all about. While others know their way around it, we are aware that booking a rental property home for a vacation can be unfamiliar territory for some. Because we know this, we ensure that each of our properties are up to high quality standards. We do our absolute best to provide support to our guests when booking. We are available to assist you every day of the year if you have any questions or concerns before, during or after your visit to our home. We have onsite property management available 24/7 for anything concerning that may arise. MANAGED: This well managed property needs good guest behavior and adherence to instructions, rules, terms, conditions, and requires online registration, accidental damage protection, and electronic signature before final booking confirmation, or you may cancel before proceeding at that time. Phones open 7am to 9pm everyday. For security, there may be outwardly facing security cameras, capable of constant recording depending on staffing. There may be interior decibel meters to report excessive noise. To allow enough time for full cleaning, check-In time is 5pm and Check-Out is 11am.
