Situated on a quiet new estate, our property provides a peaceful and tranquil setting for your stay. We are ideally located for you to relax and explore the stunning Devon countryside and nearby beaches. Barnstaple centre is just a short 20-minute walk or a quick 5-minute drive away. You will be sharing the property with your hosts, Clare & Dave, and their three friendly dogs. 2 Cockapoos, Ruby and Honey, and Poppy a Toy Poodle. Clare works from home and is always available to help. The space Situated on the top floor of our family home (accessible via two flights of stairs), this charming double bedroom offers a quiet and comfortable stay. The room features characteristic sloped ceilings with Velux windows and premium blackout blinds for an undisturbed night's sleep. The bedroom is furnished with a comfortable memory foam double bed, bedside tables, a wardrobe, and a chest of drawers. High-speed Wi-Fi is included, alongside a wall-mounted 32” Roku TV and Sky box. Guests are welcome to log into their personal streaming services, ensuring they log out upon check-out. Complimentary tea and coffee facilities, a kettle, and drinking water are provided in the room. Guests may refill water bottles in the main kitchen. This listing includes exclusive access to a private, adjacent shower room fully stocked with towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. A parking space for one vehicle is available on our extended driveway. Please note that access is limited strictly to the designated bedroom and bathroom listed. Guest access You will access our home through the main front door, and we will hand you a key upon arrival. If we happen to be out when you arrive, don't worry—we have a secure key safe on-site. We will send you the access code on the morning of your arrival so you can let yourself in. Please just keep in mind that there are two flights of stairs leading up to your top-floor room. On sunny days, you are more than welcome to use our large patio area. It is fully furnished and the perfect spot to sit back, relax, and enjoy the fresh air! During your stay We are happy to socialise with guests and will help in any way we can Other things to note For your peace of mind, our home is fully equipped with fire doors throughout, automatic emergency hallway lighting, and a fire extinguisher located right by the front door. Meet Our Resident Pups! We have three resident dogs who will definitely want to welcome you! Don't worry if you hear them bark when you first arrive—they sound like fierce guard dogs, but they are actually just incredibly excited to show you their toys. They are all hypoallergenic, non-shedding, and absolutely love cuddles. A quick tip: We highly recommend keeping your bedroom door closed during your stay. Ruby is a perpetual little thief and will gladly sneak in to steal a sock or a slipper if given the chance!
