Barreiros ArchDesign Apartment

The Barreiros ArchDesign Apartment is located on the 3rd floor of a condominium, located in a central area of the city of Funchal and very close to the city's main visiting points. The renovation project for this apartment was born from a passion for architecture and interior decoration, whose purpose is to provide guests with a stay full of light, comfort, functionality and aesthetic harmony. The space The apartment is equipped with a central air conditioning system and offers all the necessary amenities to ensure a pleasant stay, whether for a short visit or a longer stay. Our priority is to make sure our guests feel comfortably ‘at home’ as soon as they arrive. You can enjoy a very spacious and sunny balcony in the late afternoon, with a table to enjoy a romantic breakfast or dinner accompanied by a magnificent view. The central location of the apartment allows easy and quick access to the main points of the city, namely the hotel and tourist area, the beaches of Lido and Ponta Gorda, the gardens of Quinta Magnólia and Parque de Santa Catarina, the historic center of Funchal and easy access to the highway. A variety of services and shops, including pastry shops, bakeries, grocery shops, bars, restaurants, parks, gardens, and tennis courts, as well as a tourist area with restaurants and hotels, are all within walking distance. All reservations include a surprise welcome kit for our guests that includes water, fruit, coffee, chocolates and/or others. Other things to note Before check-in, all guests are required to submit the check-in online using a valid identification document (e.g. passport, identity card, citizen card) for the purposes of mandatory communication of the accommodation to the Foreigners and Borders Service (FBS), under the terms of Portuguese Law. The data is filled in by the guests themselves and sent automatically and electronically to the FBS authorities. We inform all our guests that all reservations from October 1st of 2024 are subject to payment of the Funchal City Council tourist tax of €2 per person, per night, up to a maximum of seven nights. The following are exempt from paying this fee, upon presentation of valid proof: Children up to 12 years old; Guests with a disability equal to or greater than 60%; and Residents of Madeira Island. Given the central location of the accommodation in the city, some ambient urban noise may be present, which are beyond our control. For guests who are particularly sensitive to such sounds, we are pleased to provide complimentary sleep earplugs. Check-in must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance. Scheduling within 48 hours will be subject to the availability of our team. Bed linen and towels are provided for all stays. Extra towels and bed linen will be available free of charge for stays of 7 nights or more. The apartment has a baby cot and a baby high chair. Its use is subject to request and payment of an extra fee of €15 per stay. With prior notice and subject to our team's availability, cleaning may be requested during the stay (longer than 7 nights) with an extra fee. The establishment is for the exclusive use of registered guests, and the entry and stay of any person other than registered guests is prohibited.
