Newly built ground floor apartment in an (also newly built) modern home. Located in a quiet neighborhood downtown close to grocery stores, museums, hiking trails, tourist shops, etc. Fully stocked kitchen and brand new bed, appliances, etc. In floor radiant heat to keep you toasty. Living space is small but has everything you need for a comfortable Juneau home base. The apartment has a separate entrance with a key pad. It is fully private and all yours! We work during the day and use a very busy cleaning service so unfortunately we are normally not able to accommodate early check in or late check out or bag storage. The TV in the unit is really more like a computer than a television. You can use it to access your accounts at Hulu, Netflix, Amazon, etc, and it has various other settings but it does not receive broadcast or cable channels. We are right upstairs in the main house. We are lifetime/long time Juneautians and always happy to share our knowledge and offer advice, as requested. "The Flats" is an adorable neighborhood full of families and pets. Our block dead ends on a creek with a walking bridge so while there is a lot of pedestrian traffic (many heading to nearby Cope Park), there is no through street traffic. We are easy walking distance (10 minutes or less) to grocery stores, state museum, city museum, governor’s house, state capitol, trailheads, restaurants, bus stop, and downtown shopping district. 15-20 minute walk to Mount Roberts Tram and pick-up spots for sightseeing tours. I would recommend a car for longer stays so that more independent exploring is possible. Since we live upstairs it is possible you will hear us.
