The Old Chippy Flat

Lovely newly refurbished flat in the centre of Lynton. You have all you need in one location while offering a beautiful Town view from the balcony. The property is near all the restaurants and cafes, only a few seconds from the door, and if you do fancy a nice drink out, there is a cracking pub just opposite. The walks from here are great too, only a few yards and you have hit the coast line of the Valley Of Rocks, just keen an eye out for the goats. The space The first floor is fitted with a fully functional kitchen offering all you should need, like a kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge and oven, plus all the essentials. There is also a large enough table to fit 4 people comfortably around it. The kitchen is combined with the living room and two giant doors that access the balcony, great for when making a coffee and then wanting to walk straight outside to enjoy the sunrise with a view. We also have outdoor chairs which are just perfect for sitting outside on the balcony looking up at the stars on a clear night, it is truly magical. The living room has a corner sofa to fit the family and a tv that is hooked up to free sat, we have also added a Roku device if you want to connect to your streaming server. There is a small area if you needed to do some work, it's right next to the wi-fi router and plug sockets. You could even have the door open and enjoy some fresh air as you work, but the town does get busy during the day. The artwork is sourced locally, if you would like to find the artist, the shop is located in Lynmouth and it's called Exmoor Uncommon on the high street. Lucy, the shop owner, is lovely to talk to and as the name of the shop says a lot of uncommon things to be found there. The second floor offers a comfortably king bed with hotel quality linen and towels. We have also provided a chest of drawers, hangers and a hair dryer. Our aim was to ensure the room had been designed with keeping as much space as possible while maximing the bed size, as I know I always prefer a bigger bed. The main bathroom is on this floor and there is a bath, shower, toilet and sink. The bath and shower are combined so we could offer both options. The third floor has 2 single beds with hotel quality linen and towels, but do watch out as the stairs are a quite steep and tight. This room comes with a chest of drawers and a toilet/basin to avoid the midnight trips down to the main bathroom. The view is also stunning from this room, one to check out when the sun is shining. Guest access There will be a set of stairs before entering the first floor and we have space in the porch to hang coats and leave shoes, could even fit a few bags if needed. Other things to note A set of stairs can be steep and tight, this set is leading to the top bedroom which has the 2 single beds in, the others are easier to use.
