Rocky Ridge Lodge is near Boone & Blowing Rock, just 15 minutes off the Blue Ridge Parkway in a gated mountain community filled with amenities to enjoy; pool, pickleball, fishing, canoeing, hiking, basketball and more. Head to town to ski, or have a day on the town! Designed to make memories in! The space This luxury log cabin is designed with three floors, with your family and friends in mind. Each floor is set up with its own thermostat + two sleeping areas per floor. Guest access Property & Community: During your stay the cabin and property is your private getaway, toss on your shoes and it’s just a walk across the street to one of the community lakes with catch and release fishing, canoeing, swimming pool, playground, and clubhouse gym. The community also offers a basketball court, tennis court, disk golf, and a community church with service every Sunday. Feel free to explore the 10 acres the cabin is located on or it’s a stone's throw away to the hiking trail system that winds through the 1,000-acre community. These trails include two small waterfalls and a beautiful natural swimming hole! Enjoy the amazing mountain views from inside or outside the cabin on the 1,000 sq. ft. deck. Inside offers a large hangout room with a home movie theater, pool table, shuffleboard, air hockey and arcade games. Board games are also located in the living room. Explore High Country: Spend a day or evening out on the town in the mountains. Historic Downtown Boone is a 25-minute drive. Blowing Rock, a personal favorite, is a 35-minute drive including a scenic drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway. Ski resorts range from 35 minutes to 65 minutes away. We have wonderful local recommendations we're happy to share! If you’re ready for some high adrenaline adventures; including skiing, mountain bike parks, ATV tours, horseback riding, and zip lining we’d love to share information on that as well. Other things to note The pool is open June - Labor Day Weekend. Fire table in operation year round! Fireplace is in operation beginning of October - end of March. Propane use: 4 hours per night is included for the fireplace/fire pit table combined. Propane for the grill is included. Message us for our FAQ info sheet regarding fishing, canoeing, and more. On demand hot water. Being in the mountains on a community well, water pressure is possibly less than you have at home.
