My husband and I bought this house as an engaged couple looking for something to do. Little did we know, we would have so much fun creating an awesome space for you all to enjoy. We named our home based on the one plant the was growing in abundance wildly all around the house…MINT!!! Clearly the name needed to be “Mint to be”. Somerset county comes with a great deal of adventures for a family trip or a quick weekend get-away. We hope you have as much fun spending time here as we do! The space Mint To Be offers 5 bedrooms with 1.5 baths, a fully equipped kitchen, dinning space, and a living room to accommodate a large group. This home allows the guests to enjoy outdoor dining, remote work, and a backyard ready for all sorts of activities. With a front and back porch, there is plenty of opportunity to enjoy outdoor views, local wildlife, and spend the evenings around the campfire. Don’t forget to search for all of the wild mint plants growing around the property. This home is located in Southwestern, Pa and noted to have several state parks, ski resorts, trails, wineries/breweries, and historical landmarks within miles. Our home offers the pleasures of privacy and peacefulness even with the town of Somerset being only a few short miles away. Guest access The only space that is not allowed to be accessed is the basement and the shed in the yard. Both will be locked. We encourage you to spend the evenings outside by the fire making s’mores or sitting on the porch listening to the wildlife. Other things to note Firewood will be provided.
