Nessie's Cottage - Log burner and dog friendly

Welcome to Nessie’s, a cosy cottage in the pretty village of Seamer. This charming stone built one bedroomed home is the perfect base for a couple and their dogs. One night stays are very welcome! The space The front door opens into a porch with ample space for coats, shoes, dog leads, buckets and spades. A cosy beamed sitting room with log burner, TV, sofas and window seat. All fire making supplies are provided for the log burner for the duration of your stay. The shower room has recently been refurbished. A well-equipped country kitchen opens onto an enclosed garden. Upstairs a double bedroom. On street parking is available. Towels, bedding, hand soap, washing up liquid, tea and coffee are included. Dogs are welcome, please let me know if you are bringing dogs so I can provide towels. Seamer is a small village, 3 miles inland from the coast with an independent high quality supermarket, pub and award winning fish and chip shop within 5 minutes walking distance. Just off the A64 road to York, Seamer also has good public transport links with a railway station and the Coastliner bus route connecting Leeds, York, Malton and onto Scarborough. The expansive Yorkshire Coast is within easy reach Cayton bay and Scarborough 5 mins, Filey 15 mins, Bridlington 30 mins and Whitby 40 minutes by car. The cottage is perfectly placed for national trails such as the Cleveland way and the Wolds way. The North York Moors National Park is a few miles away for exploring its many bridleways and footpaths. Dalby forest is close by with many attractions (bike hire) and events (forest live). Surfing is a very popular activity with Cayton bay and Scarborough close, there are lessons and hire available. Pickering is a short drive away with the very popular North York Moors railway attraction.
