Railroad Bank - Country Charm Near Chincoteague

Relax in the country, enjoy the beach! Built in 1915, this renovated railroad bank is one of the most unique places to stay on the Eastern Shore. Nestled on a quiet street with a 15 minute drive to Chincoteague and Saxis, enjoy the beach, horseback riding, bird watching, sea glass hunting, NASA launches, and more. The space The bank features 12 ft ceilings, spacious rooms with pine walls, comfy couch, local antiques, large windows and plenty of space to enjoy. Other things to note The bank sits in front of a grain milling facility. There is no disruptive activity, but some folks have noted the aesthetic in past reviews. We, of course, would like to be transparent ahead of your booking. We are also on a well, but have a water filtration system and softener. Some folks who are more sensitive might notice the sulfuric smell from the well water from time to time.
