Artist's cottage with views, 20 min from Bergen city center

Cabin at Lillesotra in Øygarden municipality. Designed and built in 2004 by artist Kjeld Stub. I lived here for a couple of years while studying, and therefore know the area very well. The 48 square metres, plus two lofts, are well utilised. Wake up to the peace of the forest, and stroll barefoot out on the flats, over grass, and right on rocky cliffs in the morning sun. The space The cabin is situated on stone ground above a ridge, and you therefore enjoy the sun all day long on sunny days. Behind the cabin is Stortua, a large and warm forest with blueberries and a secret playground. The cabin itself is 48 square meters. The main part consists of a living room with an open kitchen, a bedroom, and a sleeping loft above the kitchen and bedroom. From the kitchen you go on to the loft in the extension, stairs down to the writing room with sofa bed. Open height to the ceiling in the living room, large window surfaces, and a double verandah door out to the terrace with views all the way around. A small patch of grass, as well as rocky outcrops in the garden that continue up to a vantage point with a 360-degree view. Nature garden is sheltered from the wind under the ridge. Inside, there is both a fireplace and a wood-burning stove, as well as a simple hob with two plates, and an electric dormitory stove. Outside there is a fireplace by plating, and a fire pan. More outdoor benches. Living room including grand-grandmothers piano! Guest access The whole place by yourself, except for a locked storage space. Otherwise all outdoor spaces all by yourselg! Other things to note The cabin has installed well water which is connected to taps and a shower. Drinking water is drawn from cans that are ready in the kitchen
