Cabin in San Cristóbal de las Casas

This comfortable cabin is located in a beautiful green neighborhood near to Huitepec natural park and about 20 minutes away from downtown San Cristobal (car distance). The place is surrounded by nature and gives a unique opportunity to experience the tranquility and beauty of the Mexican forest and the charming of this historical town. The space The cabin is located at the base of Cerro Huitepec (Mountain of Colibries), one of the most peaceful and enigmatic natural places of the South of Mexico. It has easy access (by car, cab or bike) to downtown San Cristobal. Walking distance is about 40 minutes. Dues to its location, guests can enjoy the beauty and charming of the historical town without being stuck in the middle of the hustle of tourist downtown. The cabin offers a great opportunity to visit emblematic places in San Cristobal de las Casas, and a cozy, beautiful and comfortable place to rest and enjoy nature. It has two bedrooms and one bathroom, it's fully furnished and it has all the amenities required to make your staying memorable. There is a full size bed in each bedroom and a full size futon in the living room. The kitchen has all the tools you need to cook and eat at home. During the wintertime I provide electric and/or gas heaters if necessary. Please note that automatic heating is not a regular amenity in Mexican houses, so you should bring warm clothing during winter season There is also a charcoal barbecue grill upon request in case you need it. This place has beautiful yards with nice views of the mountains. There is a parking spot for one car, free wifi with moderate speed (Wifi services in the small towns of Mexico is not high speed). Unfortunately we don't provide laundry services. The cabin has easy access by car, cab or bike. Cabs charge about $ 35 / 40 pesos ( $ 2 / 2.5 USD ) to downtown San Cristobal and they can pick you up at the cabin upon phone request. Estimated ride time is 20 minutes. You can also walk down the dirt road to the main avenue (10/15 minutes) and easily get a cab there. Or walk to downtown approximately 40 minutes.The walking way to the main avenue is surrounded by trees and it's pretty enjoyable.
