The SPICY PELICAN is a premier BRAND-NEW custom built 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath gorgeous St. George Island home with fantastic ocean views. This perfect beach retreat is nestled on a half-acre with views of the ocean from all 3 decks. Enjoy an easy less than 150-step walk to the beach by way of a DIRECT beach path from our house to the ocean. Come and relax on Florida's Forgotten Coast! The space We have 3 king bedrooms, two of which are spacious master bedrooms on both the first and second floor, plus an additional bedroom with a queen-size bed and a twin with trundle. We are a handicapped accessible house with not one, but two handicapped accessible bathrooms with grab bars, available shower chair, and available handicapped toilet set upon request. We also have an elevator which you can request access to for an additional fee for the week. Please message Host if you desire access to the elevator for specifics. This $100 fee will be collected following confirmation of the rental via specific request through AirBNB. This warmly decorated open concept home offers 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths and can sleep up to 10 people. The exterior of the property offers spacious under-house concrete parking. Wash off after an enjoyable trek to the beach with a hot/cold outdoor shower. The ground level entry has a designated place to hang your beach towels for daily use. The first floor offers loads of sleeping space in three bedrooms. The beautifully appointed master king bedroom offers an office desk, comfy glider with ottoman, private bathroom, and direct access to the covered deck. There is an additional king bedroom with an antique dresser and direct access to the deck. The other bedroom sleeps 4 in a queen size bed and a twin with a trundle. The first-floor den features a 65-inch smart tv, gaming system, and has direct access to the deck as well. There is an additional shared bathroom on this floor plus a laundry room with washer/dryer. The second floor boasts warm vaulted ceilings in an open living/dining/kitchen floor plan. The nautically designed open concept great room includes a 65-inch smart tv, music alcove with a coastal painted piano, extra TV trays, dining space for 17 (6-person dining table, 4-person breakfast bar, and a 3-person bistro table), and a wall of windows and glass doors to admire the wonderful ocean views for a perfect relaxing time together. There is a spacious 2nd floor master bedroom with a custom designed shower with two shower heads. The master bedroom includes a 75-inch TV, plush swivel chair, and private access to a covered porch from which you can enjoy your cup of coffee in the mornings or glass of wine in the evenings as you watch and listen to the peaceful ocean. All decks facing the ocean have ample seating including swings, conversation chairs with end tables, cushioned rocking chairs, and a large 6- person outdoor dining table ideal for family time! We are in a private, gated community located on the west end of St. George Island. It features a special balance of nature and wildlife, pristine beaches and beautiful homes, and solitude. Spicy Pelican guests may enjoy amenities exclusive to the community members: two community pools (one is Olympic size), tennis and pickleball courts, fitness center, nature trails, access to Bob Skies Cut and more. The bike path spans the entire Island up to the State Park for a short/long bike ride, run or leisurely (mostly shaded) walk. Spicy Pelican truly offers everything you need for the ultimate Florida vacation. With its breathtaking views, comfortable living spaces, and fantastic location, this home is the perfect vacation home for you and your loved ones. This is the perfect place to enjoy beach time, family time, fishing, swimming, boating, bicycling, kayaking, and paddleboarding. This is small town America with no high rises and no chain restaurants. This is a region known for its small panhandle communities populated by yummy restaurants and cute artisan stores to browse in your free time both on the Island and in nearby Apalachicola! Come enjoy the Forgotten Coast! *Pets are welcome but the owner must give permission for the pet to be included in the rental at the time of the booking and prior to the renter's stay. MAX 2. Please do not allow pets on furniture or beds. A crate and dog bowls can be provided upon request. There will be an extra fee to allow pets. The following rules apply to all pets on premises. -Renter acknowledges that pet is free of communicable infections or any parasites such as fleas. -Pet is well-trained, socialized and does not have a history of biting, excessive barking, chasing or aggressive behavior. -Pet is house-trained and Renter will immediately clean up any accidents -that might occur in the house or on the property. -Renter agrees to clean up immediately when the pet uses the home premises, yard, or other surrounding areas, and dispose of waste quickly and appropriately. If extra cleaning is required to clean up after the pet in the yard (stool) or the home, there will be an extra cleaning fee to be paid by the renter. -Pet must be kept leashed, but not tethered, when it is outside the rental. Renter agrees to pay immediately for any damage caused by pet. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire home. There are several owner's closets that are locked that guests will not have access to. Guests will also not have access to the ground floor storage areas. Other things to note *7 Night Min. Stay Required during High Season- March/ April/ June/ July/August ; 3 night minimum stay low season *We allow dogs (maximum 2 dogs) but there is a non-refundable pet fee applicable of $150. Dogs must be confirmed officially through the reservation. There will be a fine if dogs are not disclosed in advance. Pack-N-Play provided if needed. Closet with games and a Wii gaming system Two large TV rooms for guests who just want to watch something different! Two handicapped bathrooms for those in need of grab bars or a shower chair Linens and bath towels included. Available cleaning supplies if needed. Well-appointed kitchen which includes stainless steel appliances, Crockpot, waffle maker, Keurig coffee maker, regular coffee maker, George Foreman Grill, Oster blender, dishwasher, wine opener Washer/ Dryer, iron, and ironing board onsite. Luggage racks in each bedroom * We provide two rolls of toilet paper per bathroom and two paper towel rolls for the kitchen per reservation. * Please bring your own shampoo, body wash, and conditioner. * Note- Motorcycles, scooters, and golf carts for renters are not allowed on this part of the Island . * We have a strict "no smoking" rule to prevent odor, property damage, allergens, and fire hazards. This includes inside and outside , including balconies, patios, and gardens.
