Stone House of Happiness Near Sarlat

Towels also included (10 large cotton bath sheets in house, along with another 12 colorful Turkish pool towels). All bedside tables have 2 USB ports and 2 electrical outlets. Primary bedroom 1: 180x200cm King bed, en suite full bathroom with walk-in shower. This bedroom is over the kitchen and has exposed wood beams with historical imperfections. Primary bedroom 2: 180x200cm King bed, en suite half-bathroom (toilet & sink). Below it off the entry, there is a recently renovated modern full bathroom with another walk-in shower. This bedroom is over the salon and has white exposed beams with historical imperfections. Large loft bedroom: Four single beds (90x200cm), each plenty big for one adult. This bedroom runs the length of the back third of the house, with its own staircase. At the bottom of the staircase is another salon which has a large 6.5kg washer and 8kg dryer. The door between this room and the house entry means that this area can be separated because of its own entry/exit. This bedroom also has exposed wood beams with historical imperfections and shares the full modern bathroom and glass shower off the entry. There’s a dedicated workspace in the living room (large 195cm desk and Herman Miller-like ergonomic chair), and large monitor to connect to your laptop. The Starlink high-speed internet makes this an ideal remote work location. Guest access The entire house and outdoor property. The smaller gîte is closed, but let us know if you want to store bikes in there. Other things to note We have rare high speed Wi-Fi for the area (Starlink). Top speeds we’ve noted are 300mbps down/20mbps up, with daily average 120mbps down and 14mbps up. We routinely work remotely for a month every year and find it reliable, even for zoom meetings. Of course, weather is beyond our control and may affect the satellite. If you have a super important zoom meeting, you may consider the nearby co-working location that has broadband. Broadband is expected throughout the Dordogne region by 2025. If you need it, we have an extra rollout bed, a pack n’ play crib, and a high chair under the stairs in the billiard room. There are extra bedding/blankets/pillows there as well.
