Cosy, Comfortable, and Convenient in Caulfield

Welcome to my cozy and inviting apartment just a stone's throw away from fabulous shopping, public transport, and local cafes and shops. This charming private room is perfect for guests who are looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay after exploring Melbourne, shopping at Chadstone, or studying at Monash University. The space The apartment is one of 10 in our 1960s built 2 storey apartment block, it is on the first floor (one flight of stairs up) and has no apartments bordering it to the sides, so it's fairly quiet. It has a living room with tv, games console and sound bar, comfortable sofas and a pretty outlook to the street. Your room has a double bed, bedside table, and foldable table/desk you could work from if needed, we have fast wifi. There are wall hooks and hangers to hang clothes or towels from, and if you need to you may use the wardrobe, though it contains my belongings as well. There is parallel street parking in Tattenham Street which is usually readily available. It is restricted to 1 hour's parking between 8am and 8pm Monday - Friday, but is not restricted overnight. If you are bringing your car and need daytime parking, please let me know. I can arrange a short term parking permit. Guest access Early Check In/Out: I am usually able to offer bag drop off earlier than the normal check in time of 3pm. If you want full facility access earlier, then, depending on current occupancy, I may require an additional fee ($40) for a half day/expedited cleaning. Likewise, for late check out if you want to use the room, then there may be a fee. If you just want to leave bags to return later for them, that I am usually able to accommodate that. --- You're welcome to use the living room if I'm not using it, I'm also happy to share the space if I am home if you don't mind watching crime drama or British TV. You're also welcome to use the kitchen, there's tea and (instant) coffee freely available, and if you catch me close to shopping day, there may also be cookies in the jar. Please note: breakfast is not provided. During your stay I'm here to answer any questions you might have and usually very responsive in the AirBnb app, I often work away from home on Wednesdays and/or Thursdays so may be slightly less quick to respond on those days. Other things to note I share my home with a delightful young Tonkinese cat called Sailor. While I do my best to keep her out of the guest room, this isn't always possible, so I can't guarantee the place is suitable for those with feline allergies. Finally, I'm sorry that I am not set up with a child proof house and have listed my place accordingly. Please respect this and do not request to book if you are planning to bring a child under the age of 12.
