You are: - 5 mins to the General Store & Natural Wine Shop - 15 to the nearest beach - 20 to Brunswick Heads - 30 to Byron Bay - 40 to Gold Coast airport The space Tallowwood House was designed and hand built by our neighbour—a Japanese furniture maker—in 1979. It is a unique, rustic and intimate cabin that includes: - A private sauna - A loft bedroom with a king size bed - A lounge with two daybeds that can accommodate additional guests upon request - A small, but spacious kitchen with electric cooktops, a fridge, toaster, kettles, moka coffee pot and all the cookware and utensils you could ever need - An indoor fireplace (Note: firewood is not provided during Between October to March) - 2 showers (one indoor and one outdoor) - An outdoor bath (with hot and cold water taps) - A large outdoor deck - Outdoor dining table and seats - A fire pit Pet policy & fees - As pet owners ourselves, we wanted to ensure we are pet friendly - All we ask is that you keep your pets off the bed and lounges and clean any paw marks and hair on the floors - Pet fees = $25 per pet, per stay Guest access You will have private access to: - The whole house - Backyard - Outdoor bath - Sauna You will have shared access to: - Walking trails that traverse the property To access the house from the driveway/car park, you will need to walk up a pathway that has steps. This pathway is a little steep. Please take this into consideration when booking. Other things to note 1. Please note the host, Josh, lives in the cabin next door. Your cabin is completely private. The only thing you share is a driveway.  2. From October 1 to March 1, we do not provide firewood due to increased fire risk during these months. If you wish to have an indoor or outdoor fire, please be aware you will need to bring your own.  3.
