Welcome to your Moreton Bay home away from home! The perfect spot for short stays, centrally located between Brisbane & the Sunshine Coast, this private 1 bedroom guesthouse with secure car accommodation (lock up garage) is located in a quiet suburban neighbourhood. Pet friendly however strictly small dogs (under 10kgs) or cats only. Our accommodation is not suitable for medium or large dogs. Please read the “Other Details to Note” for more information. The space guesthouse has one bedroom with a queen bed. The kitchen is equipped with a Thermomix (and yes I can show you how to use it!), a portable oven/air fryer/microwave, slow cooker, kettle & toaster and all the usual crockery/cutlery. Basic tea/coffee/breakfast cereal & milk supplied. Wifi & Netflix is available. We are able to supply a portacot/sheets, high chair & some basic toys for a young child. Please let us know when booking that this is required. Electric vehicles may be charged using a standard powerpoint in the garage. Laundry area in garage is equipped with a washer/dryer, laundry tub, iron/ironing board and an external clothesline is available as well. There is a bus stop at the end of the street. Guest access Whilst we live on the property, you will have your own completely private guesthouse located conveniently at the front of the property and separated from the main house by 3 lock up garages. The driveway is a shared space and there is plenty of room to park either in the secure lock up garage closest to the guesthouse, immediately in front of the garage or on the street. Our street is a suburban cul de sac and there may occasionally be children playing in the street. Due care when entering and leaving the property is required. Other things to note Our space is suitable for SMALL house trained dogs (and cats) only. Please provide details of breed in your booking request. There is no secure yard area attached to the guesthouse. Guests are responsible for ensuring they provide regular leashed access outside for their furry friends. Dogs must be able to walked on a leash, knowing that there are other dogs in our neighbourhood and we are unable to control those interactions. If your dog is reactive, please look for alternative accommodation. Whilst our street itself doesn't have a footpath as such, we are in a cul de sac and there is a walkway through to a large football oval and playground at the end. Heading to the other end of our street is a a 3km circuit (with footpath) around our estate which makes for a lovely walk. Dogs are not to be left unattended at ANY time. We are able to provide care at additional fee if required.
