A cozy cabin in the Texas Hill Country awaits you! Come enjoy a tranquil place to kick off your shoes and rest in nature on your 50-acre playground. Live oak, cedar and pecan trees are the canopy for deer, squirrels, and a variety of songbirds. Enjoy hiking the mountain, relaxing on the porch, dipping your feet in the spring fed creek, or taking in the sights nearby. Spectacular sunrises to start your days and crackling fires and star-filled skies in the evenings. The space About this space: “Vaquero Cabin” is our first cabin recently built less than a year ago. It is a one bedroom, one bath private oasis and sleeps up to 4 guests. Our cabin sits below the hill sitting on 50 acres in the heart of the Texas hill country. LIVING: Enter directly into the living room with smart tv, WiFi, pull out sleeper sofa and coffee table. DINING KITCHENETTE: Stocked kitchenette with a large fridge, four burner stove top oven, sink and coffee maker. The dining table seats four. We provide all cooking utensils and kitchen amenities. Just bring your groceries and spirits. Be sure and enjoy the beautiful view out the kitchen window! BEDROOM: Medium sized bedroom with comfy queen size bed and two side tables. The view isn’t bad either. BATH: Private bathroom with walk in shower, sink, vanity and toilet. We provide all the bathroom essentials including towels. AIR: Two remote controlled mini splits that will freeze you out in the summer or keep you warm and cozy in the winter. We have one in the living room, and one in the bedroom to assure comfort. CLEAN: We are clean freaks and can assure you that every inch of our space will be cleaned. We follow all sanitizing protocols and take it very seriously. All bedding and towels are changed after every guest departs. Guest access OUTDOORS: There is an easy trail directly behind the cabin that goes up the hill. Hike at your own risk to enjoy some breathtaking hill country views or start gaze at night. Directly in front of the cabin is flat ground. Take a stroll through some big oak and pecan trees or walk down to the spring fed creek where you can hop in and cool off in some of the cleanest water anywhere. There is an abundance of wildlife you’re likely to encounter and enjoy. We also have horses that love interacting with our guests. 1/2 of a mile to Bent Rim Restaurant 1/2 of a Twisted Sisters (Biker Route) 1/2 of a mile from downtown Leakey 1 mile to the Frio River 9 miles North of Garner State Park 17 miles North of Concan Other things to note PETS: We do not allow pets. We want to keep our space as clean as possible for every guest and unfortunately cannot allow. No exceptions.
