Atlantic View Getaway

Our home in Sambro Head is located a short 30 minutes from downtown Halifax in good traffic. On your way from Spryfield, you'll be whisked along the Atlantic Ocean with incredible views. We're 50 minutes from Halifax airport (YHZ), 60 minutes to Peggy's Cove and 90 minutes to Wolfville, Lunenberg & Tidal Bore Rafting activities, and 5 minutes to beautiful Crystal Crescent Beach. Sambro is a fishing community and most of our neighbours are full-time residents who work nearby. The space Our home, built in 2005, has a large exterior deck facing the ocean, with a rear deck to escape the sun that shines all day on the front of the house. Inside, you'll find a sunroom to enjoy morning coffee or an afternoon book, a fully functional kitchen, dining room, family great room, and master bed & 2 bathrooms on the main floor. There is a loft area with a Queen bed, it is used as our 2nd bedroom. The lower level (ground level) has a bedroom with 2 beds (queen + double), another living room (pull out couch). Both the great room & the basement have TV's with netflix, amazon prime & crave. You may need to contact us to reconnect the service if they haven't been used. We can do so remotely. The home is very clean and all of the furniture is modern and has had very light use. Guest access You will have access to the entire house, with the exception of the closets that are locked. Help yourself to any of the outdoor games, and fire pit located at the bottom of the front yard. Please pay close attention to fire bans - please contact us for info or search "Halifax fire ban". A modern washer and dryer are available. This is a perfect house for a week exploring Nova Scotia. ** Please note: Due to our home being in a residential neighbourhood, our neighbours are appreciative if noise is kept to a minimum and inside the home once the sun sets. Camp fires are ok, and quiet talks on the deck - but be mindful of our neighbours. Other things to note Pets are welcome, please clean up after them (both inside & out). Nova Scotia has some interesting wild life, please watch your pets carefully so they don't encounter a porcupine or coyote! We have several speakers throughout the home you can connect your phone or tablet to. You can also simply just ask Alexa to play music "Ie. alexa, play van morrison". You can also use these speakers to stream services on Sirius XM, simply by saying "Alexa, play Hits one on Sirius XM", or CNN, or any other channel.
