The Barn: cosy holiday house

This newly renovated house offers you a quite, private, and beautiful place above the village of Modrejce, with a walking distance of 5 minutes to the Soča river. We renovated the house in a Permacultural way, still very exclusive and with great attention to detail. The house is located a bit above the village and gives you not only lots of privacy but also a great view on the river and the surrounding mountains. The space The holiday home consists of two spacious rooms on two floors: downstairs is the kitchen-living room with two sofas that can be converted into beds in no time at all. The balcony is accessible from this room and is ideal for taking meals outside. Upstairs is the bedroom, the bathroom and a terrace. The bed can be used as a double bed or as two single beds. Guest access The entire holiday home is at your disposal. You enter the house through an entrance room that offers space for sports equipment, shoes, rainwear, etc. The courtyard is also at your disposal. Other things to note We completely renovated the house ourselves from 2021 to 2023, following the principles of permaculture. This affects both the room and sleeping climate (natural materials, upcycling, reuse and local craftsmanship), as well as your sensual experience by consciously reducing of non-essential equipment (e.g. microwave, dishwasher, air conditioning, TV, electric coffee machine, etc.)
