Description

We offer several secluded tent sites, within walking distance of our common area where you'll have access to internet connectivity, ice chests, storage, portapotty, and water. Our primitive sites are off the beaten path, with access to everything Caleb's Mountain Ranch and Central Colorado have to offer. You may choose your desired level of privacy, ensuring unforgettably quiet evenings under starry skies. You must provide your own tent, sleeping bag, and camping gear. The space Caleb's Mountain Ranch is located on 40 acres, is the exact geographic center of Colorado. Toward the front of the property, we have a common area kitchen with tiny cabins while the back, bordering on the Pike National Forest, offers extensive opportunities for primitive camping. We are happy to guide you to a site that meets your preferences. Please note: we have a strict no-smoking / vaping or drug use (illegal or legal). Camp fires can only be allowed under the supervision of the host and in alignment with the Colorado Department of Forestry regulations. Any violations to this policy will be fined accordingly. We treasure our property and are committed to providing the best experience for all our guests. Guest access Guests will have full access to the property, the national forest, Eleven Mile Canyon - State Park - and 3,400 acre reservoir only minutes away. "The Dream Stream," one of the top trout fishing spots in North America, is within five miles and visible from the ranch. Other things to note One of the more appealing features of "the ranch" is our wildlife friends. Two herds of bighorn sheep live on the property. Wild (and friendly) donkeys from the silver mining days are frequent visitors, as well as large herds of antelope. For bird watchers we have everything from the raptor migrations to Golden Eagles soaring overhead and hummingbirds curiously hovering nearby as you enjoy a peaceful retreat.
