The floor of the cabin has copper wiring inside which has been specifically placed for grounding or “earthing.” This means you are grounding whenever you walk barefoot or are in direct contact with the floor in the main room of the cabin. Our intention is to create, as close as possible, a cave like experience but with all the luxuries and comforts of a home. You are literally staying in a place that recharges your nerve energy/qi. The cabin also provides a safe haven for writers, artists, and those who need time to contemplate, reflect and gain more clarity in their life. Here you have no distractions to get your creative juices flowing again. Location Nestled in the quiet valley of Masanamaca, just behind Vilcabamba, the Infinity Cabin is surrounded by nature in an energetic area on our land. Here you have undisturbed privacy. You may hear the sounds of birds (including an owl) but mostly it is silent. You have the freedom to sing, shout and chant without being concerned that people will hear you. On clear dark nights, the Milky Way comes out to play. We’ve been able to see shooting stars every 15 minutes. When you can see it, and you're here, and it's quiet, and you're with your person or its just you............ Wow, that's special. Bedroom The bedroom is designed to create a womb-like experience, allowing you to retreat into a safe, cozy and protected space. This unique bedroom is supremely comfortable and is the most ideal place to recharge your body and mind. As this cabin is also designed to provide darkness retreats, you have the luxury to sleep in complete darkness if you so choose. There is no place better to rest, relax and sleep. Bathroom The bathroom offers a spacious and comfortable bathtub with shower. We provide Epsom salts, essential oils and candles (included in the price) for you to enjoy and relax into even deeper states of being. Kitchen The cabin also has its own outside kitchen, equipped with a two burner stove, pots pans, cutlery, plates and a fridge. Guests have access to their own organic herb garden and lettuce bed. Exercise The cabin is also equipped with yoga mats, exercise equipment and a pull-up bar for your convenience. Leisure We have many great books for you to enjoy in the cabin. You are free to go around our land, go to the river and hike. We also organize special excursions with the locals. For those who feel adventurous, they can go horseback riding to the cascades in the Podocarpus cloud forest. And if you prefer to be pampered, we also provide special sound journeys and massages from a physiotherapist. Guest access Guests have full access to the cabin and can walk on all parts of the property except our home (unless agreed upon). Other things to note We live about 15-20 minutes away from Vilcabamba center by car. You can take a taxi or at the weekend you can coordinate a free ride with the owner. If you would like to receive breakfast and dinner, let us know and we'll make something special for you. You won't have to worry about a thing. Breakfast and dinner is an additional $25 a day. If you prefer to cook, you have a fully equipped kitchen available with fridge. On weekend there is also a trout restaurant that opens just down the road, which is about a five minute walk from the cabin. There is also another restaurant that opens a little further down the road with a pool table.
