Cottage by the lake

A magnificent, cozy and winter-inhabitable villa on the shore of Lake Vuotjärvi, on a peninsula. A peaceful location where you can fully enjoy the bounty of nature and the waters full of fish. At the same time, a short 28 km trip to Tahko, where you will find ski slopes, spas, etc. The space The well-equipped villa has an area of 82m2, with two bedrooms, a total of four beds (one double bed 160cm and the other double bed 120cm, with a shower cabin in the same room). In addition, the living room has a sofa bed with two beds. Also, for an additional fee (€80/booking), a winter-inhabitable four-person yard barn (bunk bed and double bed). In total, the cottage area has ten beds. The cottage also has a high chair and a travel cot. The cottage was completely renovated and expanded in 2013. The cottage has an indoor toilet, shower, dishwasher, washing machine, large fridge/freezer, TV, PS3, wood stove, baking oven, fireplace and air conditioning. The large kitchen is modern and versatile, making it easy to cook for a larger group. A big plus is the warm glazed terrace with fireplace and lake view. The wood-fired barrel sauna can accommodate about 4-6 people at a time. There is no electricity for the sauna, but lighting with storm lamps, which can be found ready in the cottage. Next to the sauna is a wood-fired hot tub. There is an additional charge of 60-100e/booking depending on the length of the stay. Water for the sauna and the tub is pumped from the lake. Both are also in use during the winter. At the tip of the peninsula there is a barbecue hut where you can brew afternoon coffees or even fry sausages after a sauna. The large plot has large terrace areas, renovated in 2021, with a wood grill, a smokehouse, and a pizza oven. From here, it's a short walk to the cottage, so cooking is easy. The terrace also has several pieces of terrace furniture. There is a large pier about 20m long on the beach, where you can enjoy the sun on sun loungers. There is also a rowboat on the beach, which can be used, for example, to troll in the waters of Vuotjärvi. The cottage also has life jackets in several different sizes. This also connects to larger lakes or even Tahko. Part of the beach has a sandy bottom (driven sand), so swimming from the beach is easy. The evening is crowned by a large glass pavilion suitable for winter use, access directly from the living room!! The pavilion is heated by a stove and there is the opportunity to play a variety of board games that are already available in the cottages. You can use the stove to boil, for example, evening teas. The cottage has Wi-Fi and the possibility to do remote work. Additional evidence can also be found. The cottage has running water from its own tire well through an activated carbon filter and is usually potable. However, iron may occasionally be present in the groundwater of the area, which is not dangerous. Near the cottage, about 600 m away, there is a spring water well where you can get fresh water. There is also a boat launch near the cottage if you want to bring your own boat to the cottage Guests clean themselves. Final cleaning can be ordered separately for 120e.
