Yarraville village oasis

Kick back after an exciting day in Melbourne at this peaceful and centrally-located yarraville village home. A great night sleep in a queen bed, breakfast on the garden deck before heading out to the city centre only 20 minutes by train. After a tiring day grab a coffee or cook a meal in stylish and welcoming shared spaces. Have a chat and take in a Netflix movie on the couch, or continue your evening by taking a 5 minute walk to the cool bars and restaurants in yarraville village. The space Period charm meets stylish comforts in my yarraville renovated 1910 2 bedroom cottage. Whilst only 2 mins walk from train and village centre this is a very quiet street. Your bedroom is well appointed with a desk, Nespresso coffee machine and complimentary pods and a range of books to read. The queen size bed boasts a quality mattress for a good nights rest. Set back from the street it’s very peaceful. The rest of the house is shared space with just myself. The living room and kitchen opens out onto a garden and deck (with a small gas bbq) so all feels light and airy. The kitchen is well appointed with cooker microwave, gas cooker and dishwasher. The bathroom just off the kitchen includes a deep bath and separate shower with rain shower head, twin sinks and the toilet. A washing machine is also included. Note there is no dryer but you are welcome to dry washing outside or inside on wet days. Main living room has split cycle air conditioning and heating which serves the house well but a portable oil heater/fan is available for the guest room. Guest access You’ll have access to all parts of the house but your bedroom is your sanctuary and has a lock and key for your privacy. I’m generally out Tuesday to Thursday in the office and work / study from home two days a week in my room . Otherwise all yours. Equally happy to eat with guests and chat about travel which is another passion, share local knowledge, or just leave you to enjoy your evening. During your stay There is a key safe outside for self check in. I work mid week in the city but otherwise will be around mornings and evenings and weekends if you need me. More than happy to be a tour guide if I’m not busy and you need one. Other things to note Towels and linen provided. Some basic toiletries such as body wash and shampoo are available to help guests travel lighter. A shelf in the fridge and a cabinet in the bathroom are yours for your stay. There is also a hairdryer for your use.
