The cottage is located in the middle of nature in Porkkala, Kirkkonummi, where you can enjoy the authentic Finnish nature. Just over 35 minutes from Helsinki and 15 minutes from Peuramaa golf course and ski slope. The cottage is located on a wooded hectare plot with a grassy pond. You can't swim in the pond because the water depth is shallow. The sea shore is about 2 km away on foot. To the tip of Porkkalanniemi for magnificent outdoor areas, to the rocks on the seashore and to Porkkala Marina in about ten minutes by car. The space The main house has one bedroom with a double bed for two people and a sofa bed for two people in the living room. In addition, there is a travel cot for small children. The barn (separate building) has two beds, one of which is a double bed about 120 cm wide and the other a single mattress bed 90 cm. There is no electricity or heating in the barn, but if necessary, electricity and an additional radiator can be pulled into the barn with an extension cord. The shed has a table fan and an opening window. The main house has an electric sauna and shower, as well as a water heater. The water comes from a borehole and the drinking water is filtered through a filter located on the edge of the sink. The yard also has storage buildings and an outdoor toilet that is completely odorless. The cabin does not have a water toilet. There is no running tap water in the toilet, but there is a hand washing facility with water from the water tank. In addition, there are sanitary towels and hand sanitizer. You can walk freely in the nearby forests and you can often see deer, elk and other wild animals of Finnish nature in the yard. You can freely pick mushrooms and berries from the forests, and there are buckets in the cottage storage for them. The cottage is located in an area where the internet works best with a 5G DNA connection. Other subscriptions may have a poor internet connection from time to time. Open fires are prohibited due to wildfires, and outdoor cooking is possible with a gas grill on the terrace. The gas for the grill is included in the rent. Barbecue facilities are also available. In the yard you can play yard games or enjoy a nap in the hammock. There's also a dartboard on the wall of the annex. Guest access When you rent a cottage, you have access to the entire cottage, barn, yard and all yard buildings during the summer. The cottage has two terraces, one of which is connected to the cottage and the other is at ground level. The area is partially in its natural state and there is a lawn around the house. The cottage is located halfway along Porkkalantie, which turns off from road no. 51. There are still about 4 kilometers of dirt road from the asphalt road and the cottage is located at the end of the road. There is a parking space in the yard. The cottage is in the middle of Finnish forest and nature. Other things to note The cottage must not make an open fire or grill on a charcoal grill due to the risk of a forest fire. As a result, only the use of the gas grill is allowed. The rental does not include linens or towels. However, we can provide bedding and towels for a fee of €20/person if needed. The cottage is not allowed to charge electric cars, as the fuses cannot withstand the load of charging. The tenant has access to two adult bikes and two small children's bikes (kick bike and tricycle). There are pickers and buckets in the warehouse for berry and mushroom picking. The warehouse also has a clothes dryer rack and cleaning supplies. In winter, the atmospheric fireplace provides additional warmth. Firewood is in the litre in the yard. There are also electric radiators in each room. Extra heat is provided by an air source heat pump. Unlike the pictures, the terrace has been renovated and partially covered.
