The space The room is very large, with a 135-cm-wide double bed, spacious closets, air conditioning, high-speed Wi-Fi, 4K HD Smart TV (with national channels and compatible with Netflix, etc., using your own account) and a lock with key on the door (for total privacy). The room also has a desk with a comfortable chair, so you can work well. Guest access The shared areas are: 2 full bathrooms (so they are always available), a very large and well-equipped kitchen-dining room, several terraces with tables and chairs, and an 8-metre-long swimming pool (only available in summer). We only ask that you keep your private room clean, as well as the bathroom, kitchen, and common areas when you use them. We will provide you with the house rules to ensure orderly, respectful and peaceful use of the shared home. During your stay The house operates as a shared residence. We aim for respectful, peaceful, and friendly coexistence among the people living in the house. If you have any questions or concerns, you can write to me, and I'll help you as much as I can. Once you're at my house, we'll be in touch in person, by cell phone, or via WhatsApp. Other things to note Our house is located in Granollers. Within easy walking distance of Granollers-Canovelles train station, bus stops, the city center, supermarkets and gyms, and close to major roads and highways for driving to other towns and the city of Barcelona. Ideal for studying, work, health, etc., because it is: - Less than a 5-minute walk from Granollers-Canovelles train station (R3 line to Barcelona or Vic) and bus stops. - 12 minutes by bus (L1) or 32 minutes on foot from Granollers-Centre train station (lines R2, R2N to Barcelona and R8 to Bellaterra). - Trains to Barcelona city leave every 30 minutes throughout the day, and the journey to downtown Barcelona takes about 55 minutes. - Downtown Granollers is a 19-minute walk away. - Supermarkets (Mercadona) and gyms are a 15-minute walk away. - At the Mercadona supermarket, you can shop online or in person, and they'll deliver your groceries to your home. - Granollers Hospital is a 10-minute drive away. - It is close to major roads and highways for driving to other nearby towns and is a 38-minute drive from the city of Barcelona. There is easy, free parking on the street, right in front of the house, and you can also see your car from the terrace. The room rental price includes all expenses, and you won't have to pay anything else. The following costs are included: water, electricity, gas, high-speed Internet (fibre optic and WiFi), home insurance, community fees, waste collection fees, property tax, and any others that may apply, provided that consumption is reasonable. VERY IMPORTANT: - We can only accept room rental requests when there is a genuine and justifiable reason other than leisure, tourism or vacation, such as: work, teleworking, courses, studies, internships, medical treatments, family reasons, religious reasons, emergencies or other similar situations. In any case, you will need to provide us with supporting documentation to prove the reason. - If you have a reason that you think might be valid, you can ask me, and I will help you as much as possible. - But if the reason is for leisure, tourism or vacation, unfortunately, I won't be able to accept your request. - Additional information will be requested before accepting the request. - An identity document or passport will be requested, and a rental agreement will be drawn up for the use of the room and common areas, which will include the reason and supporting documents. - We give priority to medium- or long-term room rentals, preferably for 3 months or more, provided there is a genuine, verifiable temporary reason other than leisure, tourism or vacation. The duration may be extended if the temporary reason justifying the rental persists and is substantiated. Important: - Before submitting the request, you must read the house rules, which are published at the end of this listing. Please don't submit your request until you've read them, and if you have any questions, you can ask me. - To arrange check-in, you will need to specify an arrival time in advance, before 8:00 p.m., but no later. - We keep the house smoke-free, so smoking is not allowed. Moderate alcohol consumption is permitted only for guests over 18, provided it does not affect communal living or the rest of other guests. - You must keep everything you use clean (kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, etc.), and we will give you detailed instructions on how to do so.
