Please read the entire listing before booking* Glamping on the farm. Enjoy staying in a converted school bus converted into a tiny home:A Skoolie. The Skoolie is about 320 square feet. A short walk around the farm takes you to see beautiful sunsets and sunrises. After dark enjoy the campfire and roast marshmallows and on clear nights enjoy the stars. On some summer nights enjoy fireflies sparkling in the pastures. The space The space: Enjoy a refreshing morning listening to birds out in nature on the farm. Bluebird Skoolie offers "glamping" comforts- king size memory foam bed, kitchenette, small refrigerator, water, electricity, microwave, a shower, and a composting toilet. A record player, tv with a dvd player, stock tank pool in the summer, hammock, gas grill, outdoor shower in the summer, outdoor table and chairs and a fire pit! There is steps to enter the bus and a step stool to climb into bed. The bus is not handicap accessible. We power some of our electricity needs with solar. No guests pets are allowed. Please note: The bus is located behind our house on a working family farm with children and animals. The front of the bus is tucked away nestled in one of our horse pastures. Which gives you plenty of space and privacy while at the bus. Please Note: There is NO SMOKING on the property, inside or outside. Other things to note The bus isn’t insulated as much as a house, so the temperatures can be hotter in the summer and cooler in the winter. The mini gas burning stove in the bedroom will keep you warm in the winter, and a propane heater in the front of the bus. A electric heated mattress on the bed and extra blankets to ensure your comfort. For the summer months there is an AC unit in the bus. The toilet is a hassle-free, water-free Natures Head composting toilet that is very easy to use. There will be instructions on how to use the toilet. We all sit to pee here when using the Nature Head composting toilet. Don’t put anything other than toilet paper down the hatch. With composting toilets you separate the liquid from the solids. We appreciate your diligence in this matter. We have children who run around the property. We have horses, mini donkey, chickens, a couple of cats and dogs, and cows on the farm. The farm is an active family farm, with all the sites and sounds of a farm! With animals nearby. By the very nature of these surroundings, there are more flies, bees, and bugs in general. Cell service is spotty. Usually you can drive a short distance and have cell service. Some have service depending on carrier at the bus. We have WiFi at our house you are more than welcome to use it by coming to our yard and hooking to it.
