La Longère, cozy cottage with fireplace

Beautiful typical longère cottage in the heart of Normandy with a big garden and cozy fireplace. Perfect for the upcoming winter holidays! Although in the countryside, you have all needed services 4-7min by car (bakery, butcher, pharmacy, big supermarket). Great activities and attractions to visit in the region: castles, animals, cheese farms, hiking paths, sea side, Cerza Zoo, antic markets etc. The space Ground floor: -Big and well equipped kitchen (stove, oven, dishwasher, fridge, Nespresso machine, kettle, toaster, microwave, raclette machine) - Downstairs toilet - Living room with a fire place stove – we offer you a pack of wood at arrival. - Dining room with a table for 6-8 people - Parental bedroom with 160cm bed, blackout curtains Second Floor: - Bedroom with 140cm bed, blackout curtains - Bedroom with 2 x 90cm beds, blackout curtains - Play room for work, arts and crafts, books, games, lounge area ( This room can also be an extra bedroom up on request ). This room is a through room to the full bathroom - Full bathroom with a big bathtub, toilet and sink Garden: - 3000m2 of peaceful garden with a view on the fields - Sunchairs, toys and games are available - Grill and outside table - Little breakfast corner under the maple tree Guest access The farm building and cider apple field are not included in the rental. Other things to note Here are couple of things to know before booking: The house is a renovated typical Normandy cottage, but has kept a lovely character and charming patina both inside and outside House: Some ceiling beams are passing low, so we don’t recommend renting the house if you are a pro-basketball player:) The stairs to the first floor are narrow and the platform up small due to the big fireplace. We have high speed fiber internet suitable for remote work. The property has an alarm system and a security camera directed on the gate. Outside: Every second week in spring/summer our gardener is coming to cut the grass (approximately 1h). We will of course let you know in advance when he comes. We push for a local and natural garden allowing flowers to grow by season. There are lovely cows, goats and horses in the surrounding fields (depending on the season) There is a small pond in the end of the garden. It is not deep and there is a fence protecting it. There is a dedicated space to leave the car on the front side of the house. Please avoid going around the house with the car as the old tomettes tiles can get damaged. Jo
