Experience Jamaica like a local! Wabi Sabi is a rustic retreat home located in the countryside. Here we cherish natural, simple, and healthy living. All guests have access to our private yoga deck to practice a variety of Yoga & Wellness Exercises. The space My home is an authentic Jamaican country house located in the village of Bamboo Walk, about a 15 minute drive from the city of Ocho Rios. We offer a Honeymoon suite with a double bed, another room with two single beds, and a third room with bunkbeds. The main house has one full bathroom and guests can also enjoy a second bathroom separate from the house as well as our outdoor shower by our yoga deck. The exterior of the property features gardens, and 5 acres of lush vegetation and the surrounding jungle offers plenty of opportunities to explore. Enjoy a 15 min hike to the nearest river and a 45 minute hike to the nearest private waterfall with our local guide! Guest access The village has a variety of markets and shops for basic foods, supplies, and personal items. Guests can visit the many local beaches, rivers, and waterfalls, or explore the surrounding forest with a local guide. The nearby town of Ocho Rios features many supermarkets, duty-free shops, and restaurants. Other things to note We are happy to share our eco friendly home with two active outdoor dogs, and one very friendly and lovable cat. They are part of our family. We can provide all your meals at an extra cost (mainly vegetarian but can do fish/chicken by request), prepared by amazing Jamaican chef with love. Laundry and cleaning is available at an extra cost. Internet is available by hotspot only at an extra cost.
