Farthings: A Rural Retreat

Welcome to Farthings; a gorgeous property set in 18 acres of beautiful, private Norfolk countryside. Only 15 minutes drive from Norwich, yet in an outstanding rural setting, Farthings is the perfect place to escape to the country. Whether you wish to relax on the terrace, explore the local countryside or make your way to the city, there is something for everyone. You can even say hello to our other residents; the Norfolk horn sheep, highland cows, and Riley our cockador! The space This lovely space consists of a large, open plan kitchen/dining/living room, 2 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (one en-suite). There is a wonderful indoor/outdoor living feel with the main space opening onto a terrace through bi-fold doors, overlooking the stunning south facing garden. Keep your eyes peeled for the local wildlife, including red deer, buzzards and the occasional otter! There is a fully equipped kitchen should you wish to dine-in and a gas bbq on the terrace. There are 2 bedrooms, one standard double en-suite and the second can be set up as a twin or king (please let us know your preference at time of booking). There is also a second bathroom. Guest access Our 18 acres of land are shared with the hosts. However, if you wander the grounds - just remember to keep gates closed for the animals and dogs on leads in the fields. They can be off a lead in the garden.
