Rustic 3-unit house (6 rooms, 6 attached toilets) on 1.5 acres of coconut & palm. Number of units opened depends on group size – please discuss room arrangement if you’re particular. Serene 360° views at the edge of Kirinda & Magama beaches. Near Yala & Bundala parks. Simple, non-luxury stay with great food, friendly staff, 24-hr support, security & satellite TV. The space The 3rd and 4th bedroom is in separate Unit. The Kitchen is outside of the main house. The area used to be empty a couple of years ago. But now we get locals coming in and sometimes having parties on the beach. So you might hear noise coming from them. Also, we have 5 dogs at the property. Further, Magama beach is normally empty but there can be seasonal fishermen on the area. Two in the main house contain 2 rooms that are 17 square meters (5m X 3.3m). In feet, this is 183 square feet (16 ft by 11 feet). Toilets are 2.5mX2.5m (8 feet by 7 feet) The second unit is around 10 meters from the main house and contains 2 bedrooms and 4 double beds. Both rooms have attached bathrooms. Guest access The property has no Broad Band internet as there is no coverage by the Broadband companies. But we can provide you with wireless router, but you will need to purchase an internet package according to your needs. We have stopped providing free WIFI as some guests downloads large amount of data and it has been quite expensive as prices are based on download in Sri Lanka. If you would like to get a data package please talk to the staff regarding it. Also we can organize Yala tours for Rs 4500/= for for a couple or 5000 otherwise. This excludes entry tickets to Yala. Best time is early morning at 5. AM. The afternoon session is around 1 PM. Other things to note The are two beaches around my place. The one in front of the place and the other after crossing the rock adjacent to my place (will take you 5 min to walk). The second beach around 1K long and dead empty. The beach in front of my place can gets crowded once in a while due to people coming to visit Katharagama temple mainly on Saturday and Sunday. We provide you food at low costs. There are also couple of restaurants around this area (6-7 km from the place), which are reasonably priced. Further you can get a three wheeler to go to Tissa town and buy food. The three wheeler will cost your around RS600 (USD 4) for the return trip. Also please note this is not a hotel where we have multiple rooms to rent. We give the whole house. Therefore it is expensive than hotels with multiple rooms for rent. Also it is a good idea to get a Dialog or other SIM card from the airport. Put a minimal amount to it and then add a reload just for mobile data, which cost around 1 USD and gives you around 500M of data plus SMS.
