The space Escape the hustle and bustle at our Jago Bay gem, lake front home…lux cabin vibe! Lake views from every room… feast your eyes on the gorgeous sunsets from our jacuzzi! Enjoy the great outdoors and all the comforts of home. Bring your boat, jet ski and fishing poles and come stay with us! A large and open living area, with grand 85 in smart TV and sumptuous leather sectional, dining area, open kitchen, enormous deck, 4 bedrooms, 6 beds and 3 full bathrooms.. This two acre property is one of the few on the lake that is on a forest acreage without other houses crowding your privacy. You will have your own private dock in a prime fishing spot, last dock on Jago Bay point. You will get a chance to see wildlife such as bald eagles, bobcats, deer, wild turkeys and hopefully some fish! A six person jacuzzi is located at the first floor patio with full views of the lake. We have a fully stocked kitchen ready for meals and feasts of any kind. We provide a lot of springboard items, so guests don't have to over-buy for short stays. We anticipate you will spend most of your time out on our enormous patio deck that features a sitting area and patio dining area…and of course two Weber BBQ grills (Propane and Charcoal). From sunsets to city lights to star light…you won’t miss any of these from this patio that extends the length of the main house. Our house accommodates 8 guests very comfortably. We recommend 8 guests. However, we have bedding to accommodate up to 12 total guests. Sumptuous and decadent Master suite features a King size bed, 65” smart TV and a huge tub complete with jets and lights, showers with multiple jet options sure to deliver a lux experience, and of course views in all directions. Bedroom 2 is downstairs and features a custom-built queen-sized bed, a large bathroom, TV and direct access to lower patio, with own private area to enjoy. Studio room and 4th bedroom are steps away from the main house, each with their own private entrance . Studio/Game room features a full bathroom, Full size bunk beds, sitting area with comfortable leather sofa that opens to a Queen bed, and large 65” TV. Game table and Fuss ball round out this entertainment area for all ages! Comfy patio furniture front this large Studio room for even more star gazing and lake views! 4th bedroom/Office has a full-size bed and ergonomic electric standing desk complete with 32” monitor/keyboard/mouse…for when work has to accompany vacation! There is a fully fenced in rear backyard area that is safe for children and pets and perfect for volley ball, bocce ball, spike ball, corn hole and other games that are provided. We provide a propane weber grill and a charcoal weber grill for your backyard barbeques. We have a private dock featuring a large swimming platform for fishing, swimming and other water activities. We provide three kayaks and one stand up paddle board. Boats and jet skis can be rented nearby. For your safety and security we have two ring cameras on site; one at the front door and the second on the garage. This is our only short term rental property, so it gets 100% of our attention. We welcome any and all input and recommendations. Clear Lake is one of the oldest lakes in the world and due to the abundance of algae is one of the best bass fishing lakes in North America and provides the cleanest air in California. We just happen to be on a prime fishing spot at our docks. Feel free to bring your fishing gear and/or boat for the best experience. Boat & jet ski rentals are nearby. This lake is also the home of the friendliest people in California, so enjoy your time away at our Lake House. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire 2 acre property from the forest area down to the lake and dock. Other things to note CAUTION! This forest retreat has a very vibrant eco-system and is surrounded by nature. Please do not be alarmed by deer in your backyard, fish jumping around in your part of the Lake, Birds singing in unison at sunrise and Bald Eagles hovering overhead. HEATING/COOLING: Features three split AC/Heater Unit in the Living Area, Master Bedroom and Studio. There is a portable AC unit in the Studio side bedroom. Fans and Heaters are provided for all rooms. Note that our area in Lower Lake is generally 10 degrees cooler than downtown and there is usually a wonderful cool breeze coming from the Lake. This property was designed for free air-flow with 23 windows/doors scattered throughout the property. We have floor heaters in the Master Bedroom, Living room, Downstairs room and Studio (Petit room has a space heater). Please be patient as it takes a little while to heat up. We also have space heaters available if needed. Note: We will be installing multiple split AC systems in both houses by the end of July 2024. OUTDOOR GEAR: 3 kayaks and one stand up paddle board with oars and life jackets are available for your pleasure. Bring your own fishing gear. Please check wind/surf before taking kayaks out for your safety. We have a boca ball set, croquet set, corn hole, volley ball net and pickle ball. TECH: Experience the convenience of working remotely or surfing for fun with our high-speed internet and smart home features! Enjoy self-check-in and smart TV's. YouTube TV provided for free (subject to change). House Rules: No parties or events. No smoking. No undeclared guests. Quiet hours are between 10pm and 7am, per local ordinance. Must be 30 or older to book. Guest Access: PARKING/ACCESS: Accessible to you, any time after 4:00PM! Enjoy the convenience of keyless entry and ample parking on our private property. In order to access this private retreat, you will have to drive to the very end of the Jago Bay point. At the end of your drive, you will have a .5-mile drive on a well-maintained gravel/dirt road that is assessable by all vehicles. The Hosts: The minute we stepped onto this private historic Jago Bay gem…we knew it was IT. A haven away from the hustle and bustle of hectic life…. where the sounds of fish jumping in the water and birds serenate you to wake, we knew it had to be our home! WOW sunsets are truly spectacular and priceless…all the pictures posted are taken from our deck…and from the dining area…imagine feasting your eyes and tummy at the same time! It is the perfect place to live, love, laugh… recharge and reflect. It is truly magical…and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
