Yurt in Gasquet

If you're looking for a unique way to experience nature that still offers the comforts of home, come see what Yurt Life is all about! Tucked away in a manzanita grove and perched on a cliff with the river below, the space offers privacy, views, and close access to the river. This little yurt packs a big punch: kitchenette, comfy lounge chairs, queen bed, table, wifi and ceiling fan. And rather than being a dreaded experience, the attached bathroom with epic views is one of the best features! The space The yurt is on the host's 3.5 acre property, at the end of a cul-de-sac in the small village of Gasquet. Once guests go down the separate driveway, they'll have private parking at the base of the path to the yurt. The short tree-lined path takes you to your own space with enough wooded room between the main home on one side and a hiking trail on the other to offer privacy. There is a small pebbled area with a barbecue next to the yurt, and a great deck for lounging and checking out the cliffside views (sunsets are incredible!). The bathroom is on the deck, just a couple covered steps or two from the yurt's door. It includes a toilet, sink, mirror, baseboard heater, and an amazing shower with large open windows for a truly unforgettable experience. The yurt is 20 foot, insulated, and furnished comfortably for two. The kitchenette has a small fridge with separate freezer, 2 burner stove, a toaster oven, and everything you need to prepare your morning tea or coffee. Guest access Feel free to forage for any seasonal goodies the garden has to offer. We have several fruit trees, berries, grapes, flowers, herbs... and a vegetable or two survives our children and our neglect every once in a while as well! Adjacent to the yurt is a small trail that takes you past the locally famous Madame Gasquet gravesite and a gorgeous scenic overlook of the river before taking you down to one of the most popular swimming holes in the village: "the forks," where the Middle and North forks of the Smith river meet.
