Get away and unplug in this beautiful rural setting. This farm has been a cornerstone of our family heritage for many generations. Gather your family and make fond memories as you watch the Texas sun set behind the hay as we have for the past century. You won’t forget the peaceful surroundings of this rustic destination. The space This modern structure was built with repurposed wood from an original barn on the family property. Two log-cabin style rooms were reconstructed and surrounded with vaulted ceilings and open concept living/dining areas, a fully stocked kitchen, two bathrooms and a fireplace. Three bedrooms and an upstairs loft provide ample room and beds for 14 people. Guest access The entire barn structure, porches, and fire pit are for your private use. There is a caretaker for the property who lives in a small house near the road. Cameras have been installed outside, around the property. None inside. Parking - please do not block, nor park on the dirt road leading to the pasture. Other things to note The Texas pastureland and cows that surround our farm provide the calming view from the back porch. However, we ask that our guests stay on the 3 acres immediately surrounding the barn and not venture into the pasture with the cows. Thank you.
