Incredible uninterrupted views over the ocean to watch amazing sunsets, pelicans and frigate birds diving for fish, boats sailing by... Just minutes by car to beautiful beaches, amazing reefs for diving and snorkeling, or the Frigate Bay restaurants, shops and golf courses. Venture a little further to visit historic sites and nature trails. Spend a day sightseeing on a catamaran, or take the ferry over to the lovely island of Nevis. Big dining table for sociable meals and barbecues. Seating on the terrace for sunbathing or reading.. The pool is great for cooling off after a day of sightsighting. Hoping we have thought of most things for a comfortable stay at the house... Single level, spacious and detached. Lovely natural light filled rooms, with modern interiors. Air conditioning and ceiling fans to every room (not bathrooms) Big open plan lounge, huge fully equipped dining kitchen with a large central island. Dishwasher, American style fridge/ freezer with ice and filtered water, Nespresso coffee machine. Big barbecue on the terrace. 3 bedrooms, 3 en suite bathrooms. Two very spacious bedrooms with US Kingsize beds (UK Super- king size) One smaller bedroom with a US Queen sized bed (UK King size) All three bedrooms have closets, air conditioning, ceiling fans and ensuite bathrooms with rain showerheads. Wrap around terrace from the lounge and dining kitchen. Floor to ceiling doors fold back to take in the wonderful views and allow the sea breeze through, creating a fabulous open plan area. Outdoor terraces and a private pool. Upper terrace and sun deck with steps down to the lower terrace and good sized private pool (9m x4.5m approx, easy access steps and slopes from shallow to maximum 5ft depth) Outdoor shower. Poolside bathroom with WC and basin. Full internet access. Smart tv. Books and games. The house stands on the hillside in a sloping tropical garden with lots of visiting birds. Enjoy a nightcap on the balcony and stargaze! while being serenaded by the tree frog chorus! it is truly magical. Ocassionally, you can spot a monkey swinging through the garden! Entrance to the house is at street level from the car parking area (no steps to climb!) Electric security gates to parking area. Guest access Guests can access all of the property. All upper level rooms and terraces, lower terrace and pool, car parking area and garden. Owners keep one locked closet for storage of their personal items. Other things to note Washing machine and dryer are housed in a large utility cupboard, off the kitchen. Private drive with space to turn a vehicle and off street parking area with electric security gates. The house is on 2 levels. We own all of the property. There is a small (1 bedroom) apartment on each side of the property, on the lower level. Each apartment has a single, trusted, long term tennant. The apartments each have a completely separate entrance from the main house and have no access to the house, pool or terraces. We plan to add the apartments as an optional extra to the house rental in the future, to offer more space to larger families/ groups. When this possible we will create an additional listing with pricing for the apartments. Please note that do not allow pets at the property. We have an advisory restriction on this property as being unsuitable for babies and young children, due to the unfenced pool, balconies and steps. Bathroom towels (for house use only) and some basic pool/beach towels are provided. All of the beaches in St Kitts are public, you are actually allowed to sit anywhere! Most beach bars have sun beds and umbrellas available to rent at reasonable prices (a deal can often be negotiated!) Do check the price before sitting down! and be wary of ' Beach Clubs' the name can mean $$$! At some bars the beach seating is free, if drinks or food are purchased. The house has both American 110 and UK (240 volt) plug sockets. No need for a carbon monoxide monitor as all power and heating sources in the house are electric. The coffee machine takes Nespresso compatible pods only (classic type, not the vertuo ones). These can be quite expensive on the island, maybe bring some if you like lots of coffee! The island has some problems with the water supply and as a water saving measure, sometimes the island domestic supply is turned off without warning. This can last for hours! To help counteract this, we have installed 2 big water storage tanks and a drainage system to collect all the rainwater falling onto the roof (sometimes a lot!) a pump delivers the stored water to the house, if the supply is off. All this helps ensure that we have water to our bathrooms and appliances, even when the local water supply is not available! Now the house renovations are complete, work is progressing on re planting the surrounding garden. New trees and shrubs are growing fast! It is begining to look wonderful!
