Minutes from tourist hot-spots including: Lunenburg, Mahone Bay, Crescent and Risser's Beach, Riverport (home of the rum runners) and Lahave Bakery and arts community and LaHave ferry. Main home contains 3 bdr, 2.5 baths, swimming pool, self contained pool house (studio apt.with full bath and kitchen which is available to be rented separately as an over flow area), gazebo, wrap-around deck with great view of river and lovely garden areas. The space Situated on Nova Scotia's #1 tourist destination- The Southshore! Close to some of the provinces most popular beaches (Rissers and Cresent), Petite Riviere Vineyard, Famous Lahave Bakery (1.5km), Westcote Bells Pottery (1.5km), Fort Point Museum (2km) and great summertime farmers markets! Our newly renovated and decorated home has a nice balance of modern furnishings and upgrades throughout, while still retaining the charm of original architecture details and hardwood and softwood floors of a home built in the late 1880's. Our home has a number of gathering areas if you have family and friends visiting, including a screened gazebo, sunroom and covered porch great for having your morning coffee and watching the sailboats and fishing boats on the river. Back deck area for relaxing and having your bbq while the pool area is perfect for sunbathing and lounging by the pool. Due to the size of the home it is perfect for your family gatherings! There is also 2 driveways, so lots of parking space for family and friends. Guest access Guests will have access to all property amenities excluding the pool house. If you wish to have access to the pool house for additional space for your guests please ask and this can be arranged (please refer to additional price below). The pool house is never rented to other outside guests while you are using our home. Other things to note If you will be having more than 5 guests stay on the property the pool house can be arranged to accommodate any extra guests(2). Maximum of 5 people allowed in the main house please. Over 5 people is $100 each per night per guest in the main house. Those choosing to stay in the self contained pool house will be charged a flat fee of $100 per night. We can accommodate 2 people in this space. We are a pet friendly residence but due to any potential damage to the pool or property we charge a pet fee of $100 per pet. Please note that pets are not permitted around the pool or on the furniture....due to possible alergies by other guests....thank you for your understanding. The pool is in service all summer until Labor Day when it is typically closed. This is weather dependent. The owners are not liable for any accidents, injuries, illnesses, or loss of personal belongings or valuables by you or your guests while staying on the property. We are located on the LaHave River which is a tidal river. Although beautiful to look at and a pleasure to boat on or fish but we strongly advise against swimming. Registration Details STR2425B1202
