"La Forestière" Gîte

"La Forestière" previously had a lively industrial life. It was on this property that the Saint Lambert furnace was installed, which became a match factory in 1870. In 1874, it housed a marble sawmill whose industrial buildings were destroyed in 1931 and the house was transformed into a guinguette. In 1970, "La Forestière" became a private property. It is in this peaceful and green setting that the hosts welcome you for a pleasant stay. The space The accommodation has a private entrance overlooking an entrance hall leading either upstairs or to the kitchen. The equipped kitchen has a hob with hood, traditional oven, sink, fridge with built-in freezer, dishwasher, microwave and storage furniture. In the living room, you have a comfortable sofa that can be transformed into a bed on request, a coffee table and a TV (French, Dutch, English, German, Spanish, Italian channels). The dining area consists of a table and 4 chairs. We can add more upon request. On the ground floor you will also find a toilet. Upstairs, you have 2 bedrooms: a large bedroom with a double bed (180/220 cm) as well as storage furniture and another bedroom with a bunk bed. The bathroom consists of a shower, sink with mirror and toilet. The terrace, facing south, offers a view of the forest and has a table with 6 chairs, an umbrella and a barbecue. We also leave at your disposal a closed garage to store your bikes. Parking spaces (1 to 3 for cars or 1 to 6 for motorcycles) are available in the property closed by an automatic barrier.
