Working farmhouse retreat on Derbyshire /Staffordshire border,sleeps 10. This 18th century beamed farmhouse,nestled in a quiet village with quick access to the A50. With it's traditional red brick exterior and modern amenities,it provides a perfect blend of comfort and rustic charm on a working beef farm. The space A newly renovated farmhouse, traditional with a twist,set in an original farmyard that is fenced,so dog friendly. It is a special place, ideal for cross generation family meet ups,with downstairs bathroom and bedroom and big get-togethers around a farmhouse table,complete with a modern kitchen and traditional range,not forgetting the cold room for the celebration fizz! Guest access Guests will have the whole house and fenced yard with garden furniture and tractor ride ons for the little ones. The yard has outbuildings not accessible at present but we are working on it! It is gated next to the cattle collecting yard , you will be notified if we are moving cattle but this doesn't happen that often now we no longer milk. Other things to note The house has been restored to expose the beams and floorboards of the past but modern fixtures and fittings have been added in the kitchen and bathroom. There is a log burner with a basket of logs, more available to buy.Bedrooms are generous .The last double bedroom opens onto the children's bedroom with a storytime area for bedtime stories.
