Bazley House, Macaroni Woods, Cotswolds

Bazley House (former RAF base) is an amazing place to come and stay to relax, have fun and explore in a safe environment. Situated in Noah's Ark Children's Venture (Charity 1061676), an Outdoor Adventure Centre in Macaroni Woods in The Cotswolds. There is an adventure playground with zip-wire, trampoline, bicycles for children to ride with BMX track and woodland trails throughout the woods. We also have free range chickens and peacocks wander around the site. Rabbits, guinea pigs and pigs. The space Bazley House is a self-catering house that sleeps 31 people. It has a large kitchen/dining room, larder room, living room, and a games room. There are 9 bedrooms and 6 shower rooms (including one with facilities for people with disabilities, a bathroom and 7 toilets). The kitchen has two large ovens with gas stoves, 2 large washing up sinks and a larder room with dishwashers and a large fridge and freezer. There is a breakfast bar with four stools. The dining area has tables and chairs that can be arranged to seat everyone comfortably. Making the kitchen/dining space a great social space. The living area is carpeted throughout with large spacious sofas and an operational wood burning stove. There is a wall mounted TV screen for you to watch your favourite DVDs. The lounge leads onto a games room, which is equipped with a table tennis table, bar football table and pool table. There are 6 bedrooms on the ground floor and 3 bedrooms on the first floor. They are setup in bunkhouse style. To accompany the bedrooms, on the ground floor there is a bathroom with bath, sink and toilet; 3 shower rooms (one with access for people with disabilities) with sink and toilet; 1 shower room and 1 WC. On the first floor, there is two shower rooms and one WC. All beds have mattress covers and the beds are made up with linen with towels are provided on each bed. Guest access You have access to 21 acres of woodland, adventure playground and bikes. There are paddocks with chickens, our two pigs and a hut for our rabbits and guineapig. There is a BBQ, pizza oven and camp fire with picnic tables for your use. There are two guest bunk houses on site (including Bazley House), with another two lodges sleeping 4-6 people. The woodland, adventure playground and bikes are communal to all guests using Macaroni Woods. Other things to note Research has shown that people living in more deprived areas have poorer access to green space and nature. Research has also revealed that children’s wellbeing increased after they had spent time connecting with nature: the children showed an increase in their personal wellbeing and health over time, and they showed an increase in nature connection and demonstrated high levels of enjoyment. Once you Step into the woods here, children and adults will immediately feel a connection to nature.
