Casados Ranch is a natural reserve able to host guests in typical wood Mexican cabanas. During the stay it is possible to experience the local life of the farm, composed by 26 hectaros of autoctones plants and farmlands. The space ENG The cabana is a typical humble wood Mexican house, cozy and comfortable. It is clean and provided with anything you may need for a local experience in contact with nature: water, electricty, a private bathroom, free wi-fi, fan and clean linen. It is also possible to cook your own meals in the shared kitchen of the guesthouse. It may be possible to accept dogs, but we require you to get in contact with us. No dogs will be accepted without a previous agreement. ESP The cabin is a typical and humble Mexican house made of simple, cozy and comfortable wood. Guest access During the stay at the ranch, guests can experiece the local life of the family, even supporting some of the activities within the natural reserve (eg. farming, beekeeping, etc.). All the guests can walk around the paths in the jungle in the area, for the sighting of wild animals and birds. The site is located 2 km from Escargeca and it is just in front a family restaurant that serves local food. You can also prepare your own meals in the shared kitchen of the owners' house. If you wish we can prepare food for sale to you. Also, if you wish, we can sell you honey produced here, which is % pure bee honey. Los huespedes pueden acceder al área del camping, además de caminar por los senderos de la reserva natural para el avistamiento de aves y otros animales de la vida silvestre. El sitio está situado a 2 km de Escargeca y está justo enfrente de un restaurante familiar que sirve comida local. Pueden además preparar sus alimentos aquí en una improvisada cocina. Si lo desea nosotros podemos preparar alimentos para su venta a ustedes. Además si así lo deseas tenemos a la venta miel de abeja % pura producida aqui. During your stay We are at the customer's service 24 hours a day, respecting their space and privacy. Other things to note Adela and Lazaro, owners of the property, will be happy to show you the different cultivations, animals and the beekiping area; the environment is chilled and familiar, we are the only ones living in the area and taking care about the project for the conservation of the biodiversity in the reserve. We have been working at the reserve for more than 20 years; our mission is to make guests and visitors aware of the peculiar natural ecosystem characterizing the area. In case guests are interested, it is possible to organize short visits of the reserve, in order to know more about the plants, fruits and animals which are present in this specific area of the jungle. Beekeeping is another activities managed at the ranch, in order to produce in-house honey. The site is located in between two must-see sites within the south of Mexico, which are Palenque and the Maya Riviera. From here it is possible to visit the Mayan site Calakmul, Cenotes Miguel Colorado and other local sites.
