A small, hidden swimming area below the property invites you to swim. The lake is part of a nature reserve, which is why fishing and boating on this lake is not allowed. In the village there is a country inn (steakhouse), a swimming area with jetty, 1 playground, 3 tennis courts and some nice hiking or running opportunities on field and forest paths. The nearest shops and restaurants are in Güstrow, about 12 km away. Both the beautiful cities of Schwerin, Wismar and Rostock as well as the magnificent Baltic Sea resorts (Kühlungsborn, Warnemünde) can be reached in less than an hour by car. The resort of Plau am See (approx. 25 minutes by car) is recommended. The location on Lake Plauer See offers all kinds of activities on and in the water (e.g. boating, surfing, fishing) as well as restaurants and a few inviting shops in the attractive town center. The tranquil health resort of Krakow am See with some leisure opportunities can also be reached in less than half an hour. There are some opportunities to rent canoes and bicycles in the surrounding area. The idyllic breakthrough valleys of the rivers Warnow, Nebel and Mildenitz, as well as the field and forest paths around Upahl, are ideal for hiking. All can be reached in less than 30 minutes by car. Our apartment can accommodate 2 people. It is modern and tastefully furnished. In January 2021, the shower room was completely renovated. In addition to the living room with open kitchen, bedroom, shower and separate toilet, there is a spacious sun terrace with lake view. In addition to the apartment offered here, the house also houses a second apartment, which is occasionally used by us (family with two children) as a private apartment. So you may meet each other - but the location of the terraces and the spaciousness of the property ensure that you can enjoy your vacation undisturbed.
