Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space at the ocean! A recently built modern Balinese style villa just outside the tiny town of Kaputian in Samal Island, near Davao City. The villa is in the Kembali Coast Residential Resort. Without being too secluded, its a relaxing place in a natural ocean setting, surrounded by greenery, with great views of Talicud Island and the Davao area mountain silhouettes including Mount Apo, the tallest peak in the Philippines. Kembali Vista Villa is in Kembali Coast Residential Resort, 1.5 hours away from Davao's city center, in the southern, least developed and most pristine part of Samal Island. It is about 1.5 KM south of the small town of Kaputian, quite representative of Philippines coastal rural life and culture. The atmosphere is relaxed and local residents are friendly and welcoming. A stay at Kembali Vista Villa is about comfortably relaxing in a natural ocean environment and getting a feel for the laid back local culture. No hectic streets full of restaurants, cafes, bars & discos or McDonalds here! A few "carenderias" (small home cooking eateries), one small filipino restaurant and a few evening street grilling stands in the "poblacion" area are your main dine out options in Kaputian! Otherwise, you can buy your local fruit & vegetables and the fresh fish catch of the day at the local market, just like Kaputian residents do. Then, enjoy grilling them at the villa! Many of our guests are contented to just relax at the villa, spending the day enjoying each other's company, picnicking and swimming /snorkeling or playing volleyball at the beach. Aquasports amenities such as sea kayaks and hobie cats are available (for rent) from the Kembali Coast Residential Resort. But for those wanting to visit other beaches in the southern part of the Island, the villa is a good home base to do so. This should include the small island of Talicud, facing Kaputian. Local boatmen can take you "island hopping" to Talicud and neighboring beaches including the "coral gardens" on the Western side of Talicud for outstanding snorkeling. If timing and availability permits, scubadiving may also be pre-arranged with a neighboring resort. Many of our guests come to the Villa by private vehicles. Their is ample parking space along the street near the villa. Guests from outside Davao or without cars may come to the villa via a direct bus leaving Davao's City Center with Samal as its destination and Kaputian's bus terminal as its final stop. The ride takes 1hr15 to 1hr30 mins including the ferry crossing. The Kaputian bus terminal is about 1.5 KMs from the villa. Small tricycles (tuktuks) and "motors" (motorbikes taking passengers) are on standby and can take you to the villa. Alternatively, we might be able to organize your transfer for you. Once in the villa, going to town can also be by a tricycle arranged by the Villa's care taker or through the guards at the Kembali Coast Residential Resort's main gate and entrance.
