Cottage in the heart of Pic Saint-Loup

If you're looking for a peaceful haven with beautiful, perfectly preserved landscapes, you've come to the right place. Formerly a wine estate, the Domaine de Cantafaroune is nestled in a green setting, surrounded by the famous vineyards of Pic Saint Loup, north of Montpellier, between the sea and the Cévennes, in this calm and elegant accommodation. The space This fully independent cottage rated 4 Stars by the Grand Pic Saint Loup Tourist Office offers all modern comforts, including washing machine, dishwasher and air conditioning. It consists of a fully equipped American kitchen that overlooks the living room with sofa, flat screen TV and internet access. The double bedroom (140 cm bed, possibility of having a baby bed and equipment) opens onto the covered terrace and the garden; the bathroom has a large shower with sink. You can park your vehicle for free in a private parking lot in front of the cottage. Finally, all linens are provided – towels, tea towels, sheets, duvet covers etc - and you will also have a barbecue at your disposal. Beyond a consumption of more than 125 kWh, i.e., €25, electricity is extra based on the meter reading, at the current EDF rate (€0.20 per kWh). Guest access The property is completely independent with its own parking, garden and terraces. You also have access to a large in-ground pool (10 m x 5 m), shared with our second cottage. Other things to note You can enjoy the many surrounding walks, on horseback, by bike, on foot, and even by electric scooter or relax around the pool with its summer kitchen, the Pic Saint Loup mountain and the surrounding hills as a backdrop. Designated "Favorite of the French" in 2021, the "Tours dans le Grand Pic Saint Loup" hiking trail offers four routes to discover panoramas and riches of the territory, including the Tour des Vignes au Causse which passes in front of the property. You can also relax in your private garden and three private terraces with different types of furniture (dining tables and chairs, deckchairs, lounge chairs, etc.), or enjoy outdoor games – badminton, table tennis and tennis. You also have access to a large in-ground pool (10 m x 5 m), shared with our second cottage. If you want to visit the old stones, the cottage is close to many medieval villages – including the famous Circulades – but also to Roman cities such as Nîmes and Arles, or Montpellier, a young and lively university city. Mediterranean beaches offer a nice alternative, just thirty minutes away from the gite. A large lake with beach and restaurant is 5 minutes away. And of course, the doors of the Pic Saint Loup estates are wide open to you, offering tours, walks in the vineyards and tastings according to your desires. On the way back, a small aperitif on the terrace will end the day. All useful shops (supermarket, banks, pharmacies, bakeries etc.) are within a 5 km radius, with a nice choice of restaurants and wine bars too.
