Located in a sub-tropical region, South Padre Island is visitor friendly nearly year-round. Our tropical-island vibe pairs perfectly with our southern, down-home, local community. Diners, night-clubs, mini-golf, tandem-bike rentals, parasailing, coastal fishing tournaments, music festivals, and a water park make South Padre Island the ideal vacation spot for anyone. Any downtime to escape the year long heat with a smart TV in every room with YouTube TV, Netflix, and Disney just to name a few logged in access. Our home base was built for you to feel right at home. New AC unit to escape the heat, modern finish equipped with a full kitchen to cook the families famous recipe. When you want some fresh air, two- private balconies with a nice gulf breeze and shade make it the best spot to enjoy your morning coffee or cup of tea. Plus, you won't have to worry about sandy suits and towels, as a private washer and dryer are available for guest use. What's nearby: Located in the entrance of the island, saves you quality time having avoiding ongoing traffic up and down the coast. Many activities throughout the island for guest to venture out and enjoy. Visit to support southern boarder's rescue refugee, home to hundreds of rare species and endangered animals, "Turtle Inc. " displays a close up experience with turtles and other wild life. A wide- variety of restaurants on the island to choose from including some of our favorites: Sea Ranch, Liam's steakhouse, or the best Italian dishes the island has to offer in Gabriellas or Russo Pizzeria. Head to early morning brunch to avoid wait times at Yumis bistro, Grapevine Cafe, or Josephina's kitchen. When wait times exceed, the local gem "Dona Carmen" has the most authenticated southern tasting food with the best barbacoa and menudo on the island. Catch the sunset on the bay, where numerous food trucks are readily available along with live music at surrounding venues. Within a mile radius serves several boat docs for jetski riding, boat cruises, and dolphin watch. If the kiddos want a bit more excitement, Gravity Park is a great place to watch the seasonal/occasional firework display. RESORT FEES and PARKING PERMITS Must register at the front office for vehicle passes and amenity bracelets. Bracelet fees are not included in your rental. Fees vary by holiday/season. Gulfpoint Condominiums requires all guests to pay a one-time $10 per person Resort Fee during most days of the year. HIGHER RESORT FEES APPLY TO THE TIME PERIODS NOTED BELOW. *From March 1 to April 17, the Resort Fee is $35 per person. *From June 1 to August 7, the Resort Fee is $20 per person. *During Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's the Resort Fee is $20 per person. *No wrist band fees will be charged to infants and children under 5 years of age. *The Gulfpoint Condominium office is open between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm. *Only two parking spaces allowed in garage area. Other vehicles will be booted and fined. NO PARTY POLICY: Please be aware that this unit maintains a strict no party and no spring break policy. Our local South Padre Island team does monitor compliance with our rental policies and responds promptly to any complaints from neighbors. If any guests are found to be in violation of these rental policies, it will result in eviction without refund. POLICIES & INFO *Our home is family-friendly and non-smoking. *This vacation home does NOT allow pets. *Guest capacity is strictly enforced. *We strive to regularly update our photos and listing description; however, we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy in photos or descriptions. *Our staff works diligently to maintain sanitation and inventory in this home; however, if you find something lacking, please reach out by phone to our front office so we may promptly address your needs.
