Bisous de Chigny: Gîte

In the heart of the tiérache, on the hill of the village of Chigny, is a rural greenhouse house with extensive views of the valley of the Oise. The guest house of the house has its own kitchenette, orangery, sitting area, bathroom and a sleeping attic for 3 people (1 bedroom, 2 beds). Enjoy the beautiful garden with a view of an infinite horizon. The gîte has a separate entrance at the rear of the house, giving you all the privacy you need. The space You enter through a conservatory lined with hollyhocks. On the ground floor, you have a wide entrance hall, the kitchenette (fridge, gas stove, all cooking utensils), separate bathroom with shower and toilet. Via the stairs you enter the large sleeping attic with sitting area, dining table, 1 large double bed and 1 double bed. Other things to note Chigny is located on a hill by the river Oise. You can cycle endlessly between picturesque villages (including via the Eurovelo3 bike path), hike between fields and forests, kayak and enjoy the local gastronomy. The region is known for its fortified churches, the beautiful bocage landscape with its many views, the familistère and the old castle of Guise. In summer, there are also many markets and flea markets. The Matisse museum (30 min.) is also highly recommended. The region is easily accessible by car from Belgium (BXL and Ghent at 2 hours) and the Netherlands.
