Hello My name is Estela, I invite you to discover the charm and history of a 19th century apartment in the heart of Lisbon, in the iconic Chiado neighborhood. It consists of a living room, dining room, three bedrooms and two bathrooms (only one with a shower) Every detail has been carefully preserved to ensure a stay full of history, but with everything you need to relax after a day of sightseeing. The space Upon entering the apartment, you will be greeted by a colorful and cozy living room with street access through the D. Maria-style iron balcony. Maria style, preserving the original wood doors, windows, ceilings and floors. This space connects with the dining room where you can see the interior of a wall built according to ancestral techniques, known as the "pombaline cage" which is an architectural feature found in some buildings built during the pombaline period in Lisbon, after the 1755 earthquake. Next to the dining room is the kitchen, lined with limestone and equipped with an oven, microwave, induction cooktop, dishwasher, washing machine and drying machine. Overlooking the stairs of Rua de Oliveira ao Carmo, and next to the living room, is a room consisting of a sofa with two single beds. This room is connected through a door to a smaller room with a single bed (interior room without a window to the street). The apartment also has a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom included (only with a sink and toilet). The main toilet connects with the room through a small hall, and consists of a shower, toilet and sink. Guest access Guests will have access to all areas of the house. Other things to note The location couldn't be better. When you step out the door, you'll be surrounded by charming cafes and esplanades, fado houses, traditional restaurants, fashion boutiques, old bookstores and a vibrant cultural life. Chiado is known for its bohemian and sophisticated atmosphere, offering a variety of entertainment options, restaurants and bars. In addition, you will be within walking distance of many of Lisbon's main sights, such as Largo do Carmo, Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara, Elevador de Santa Justa, Bairro Alto, Praça do Comércio and Rua Garret and the galleries of Chiado, with a full range of stores from major national and international brands.
