Charming 18th century cottage with exposed beams nestled in Buckland Brewer North Devon. Come and take break and unwind in this peaceful village steeped in history. Two minutes walk away a from a lovely old traditional pub “The coach & horse’s serving great food. local shop. Close to Woolacombe, Bideford 6 miles, North Devon’s beaches Westward Ho onlly 7 miles away from historic Clovelly near by also is Hartland Quay with its incredible harbour and history The space On entry to the cottage your greeted by a spacious sitting room with a wood burner (PLEASE NOTE!!) Only to be used from (October to April) and logs to be bought from local shop…and surround, an extendable sofa and leather bean bag, a coffee table auto lights on a timer, a blind for easy use to the main window and throughout… the latched door leads to a lovely kitchen with fridge/freezer washing machine , micro wave oven table chairs stools .. Upstairs a large double bedroom with large sleigh bed, triple wardrobes bed side tables with lamps , the second bedroom is light and airy with a double bed and bedside tables with bedside light. (At the top of the stairs there is a pull across safety screen Ideal if you a baby or small child) The bathroom has a good sized power shower, sink toilet and towel rail. Both bedrooms come with towels.. Outside you’ll find a courtyard where there is a small area with imitation grass and a raised area with dashed slate a washing line as well..with a protected rail making it safe for children all coupled with pots and beautiful flowers.. an idyllic way to sit outside with that glass of wine.. Guest access Access is via the front door Other things to note Local pub “The coach &horses” (2 minutes walk) with great food .. Shop 1 minutes walk which supply logs and kindle . 9 miles to Clovelly 6 to Bideford 25 miles to Bude 9 miles to Westward Ho.. Harland Quay close by.
