Experience the northwest of Groningen. Spend the night in our newly built apartment in the middle of the old double wierdendorp Ulrum near Zoutkamp and Lauwersoog where the boat to Schiermonnikoog departs. Experience the Hogeland. Kotters, cornfields, salt marshes, dikes, wide cloud skies, countless stars in the darkest part of the Netherlands. Mudflat walking. Sea fishing. Bird watching in Lauwersmeer National Park (cycling distance). Half an hour's drive from the city of Groningen and Dokkum. The space A unique accommodation with its own style and a private entrance. There are three rooms: a sitting room overlooking the garden and the adjoining private terrace. A bedroom with two spacious single beds. A kitchen with induction hob, fridge and sink. And of course a toilet room with shower. In short, an accommodation equipped with every comfort and decorated with original details and art by the owners, Margriet Barends and Harm van der Meulen. Guest access In an outbuilding next to our home and studios, we have created an apartment. It has its own entrance. Accessible from the street via the small entrance hall of our gallery. Bicycles can be parked inside, and there is free parking space. At the back is the garden with terrace (the latter is not ready yet).
