Our place is perfect for a couple or the single traveler. Even that the main house is across the garden, you will find out that must of the time you will enjoy privacy and space. You can park a car or a scooter right outside the house. Our queen bedroom, roomy bathroom guest suite is a perfect place for your next vacation. The suite has a/c, cable TV, mini fridge, coffee pot, toaster and microwave. A tropical patio with deck, grill, WiFi, a pool with both a shallow and a deep end, complete the amenities. Your hosts live just across the garden in the main house. We are fluent in both English and Spanish, and we will help you to find the best places to eat, relax and play in and around Cozumel. We are located 10 blocks from the ocean front and the heart of Cozumel. We are at 1 and 2 blocks of 2 of the main avenues here: 11 street and 65 avenue. Nearby you can find 2 supermarkets, movie theaters, a public sport field with basket ball, tennis and volley ball courts also a running track. Several restaurant can be find in a ratio of 10 blocks!! and we have a SCUBA diving training facility at the house too!! Guest will walk in regular bases but some will like to rent a car to go to far places such as the other side of the island, to get around town bicycles are a great option. If you want, we have coolers that you can use for free in case you want to go and play at the East side of the island. You have complete access to the pool, deck and patio. Grill is ready to use at any time, we have a small cleaning / cooking area near the grill that you can also use. Parking is not a problem on our street but please keep the curve outside of our property clear for our cars. We can give you some tips about places where to eat, to hang out, we can ever direct you to the right people to hire services such as sailing, deep see or bottom fishing trips. We can tell you where to party and of course which places to avoid ( tourist tramps). Where to rent a good car, where to find fresh fruits, etc. Besides that... we will give you all the space and privacy you want, we enjoy hanging out with our guest but we don't push towards that or have any expectations. We also like our own private time, do not expect us to be at your entire disposition all the time. Best way to keep in touch is by leaving a note at our door or send us a message using airbnb or whatsapp Best way to go around town are bicycles, you can get to a couple of nice beach sites using the bicycles too. Walking is totally possible but keep in mind that we are in a Tropical Island...its hot. Taxis are expensive here! prices can compare with taking a cab in a city such as New York. If you want to explore the South end of the island of the East side, your BEST option is to rent a car, let us help you with finding a good one. Be aware of traffic, drivers are not as friendly and you could imaging. We Do not have pets but ... expect a random encounter with local fauna such, iguanas, bats, probably a cat and a TLACUACHE... this one is a marsupial that looks like a big rat but its 100% harmless and shy, tarantulas and geckos are also a common sight, remember, its a tropical island and those creatures were here before us. The island is very safe, however, if you rent a convertible car...you are taking the risk that the battery or other components will be stole, same goes for any unattended bicycle or personal belongings at any public site.
